Frankly, I don't think Obsidian as a company should take a stand. I think they make games, because they like games. There's no need to bring any agenda to it, especially any company wide agenda. Bringing an agenda to their reporting is one the reasons why some gaming journalists suck. Their agenda started mean more to them than their job. I think both sides are spreading too much hate around, especially the anti-GG crowd with their "gamers are sexist" campaign and not reporting any positive news about women in gaming, like TFYC. Still, I would like to see some kind of positive message non gamergate related kinda thingie... Tweet akin to the good old "by gamers for gamers." Just saying that we like games, you like games, we aren't evil for making games and you aren't evil for playing games.

Another harassment popped today, and sorry Bruce, it is from twitter. Guy has just bit over 1000 views on his gamergate videos. Like TrueNeutral I can understand someone going after prominent figure like Sarkeesian or Milo. I don't condone it, but I can understand it. Public figures always rise some ire. But these are just people, random nobodies like myself.

Titanium Dragon, one of the only pro-GG editors on the Wikipedia article on #GamerGate, has been banned. http://i.imgur.com/gYvqWOA.jpg Especially the gamergate article at wikipedia is really onesided. Almost everything anti-GG is stated as a fact and pro-GG stuff is always "alleged" if it's even mentioned.

I'm a bit out of the loop here. Why was there a hate thread for The Cynical Brit? What did Mr. Biscuit do to raise people's ire? Milo is apparently showing those emails in chronological order and early on TB was indeed neutral. He only spoke against the DMCA takedown of the first MundaneMatt video.

It isn't. Game is confirmed dead. Exactly. As long as the Mandragon fellow (or whatever he is called) holds the license you won't see a Wheel of Time movie, tv serie or a damn video game. The guy is a complete hack. Maybe he tries to kickstart a iphone game once again for 500.000$.

I think it was the censorship that really started all of this. Some woman sleeping around isn't exactly news worthy and nobody really trusts game reviews anyways. But their responses, mass censorship on reddit and other forums, the "gamers are dead articles" and the total blackout of TFYC... that's news worthy. Now they are again jumping on the censorship train at 4chan and reddit. This might even get bigger still.

I think Christina Sommers is the first person older than me I've heard saying playing games and liking games is okay. I wish I could like her video a second time.
