Big MT (Part 3.5, the greatest love story ever told) Sure thing babe, I just need to check one thing that totally isn't your home and then I'm coming to see you. Looks good so far. I think she might be my second soul mate. Yeah, she's the one. Remember kids, it isn't stalking if she isn't home.

33 hours gone down the drain ((bug))
kirottu replied to Mortivore's question in Pillars of Eternity: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
No game ever made has been bug free. That is why you always keep at least three different saves. Yes, this is me saying, it was partly your fault. -
Big MT (Part 3, I'm the Test Runner) First I'm going to get the gun that disables force fields, because if there's something I have learned from my moms stories is when your brain gets stolen and there are force fields: your brain is going to be behind a force field. It's just the way of the world. What a nice, modern, automatized kitchen. I'm sure it is kitchen and not some sort evil dissection room of doom for those who fail the tests. Little grave robbing never hurt anyone, but if you're going to pick up whole coffins it is important to remember to lift with your feet and not with your back. The F is for Fantastic like my mom used to say. Just some dogs playing poker, right? Wrong! Not one dog is wagging its tail. This means they have been taught to lie and that's just too far. There are some things science should stay out off and lying dogs is where I draw the line. Now nothing can stand my way! Muahhahaa! Well, except normal doors, walls, mountain sides and, you know, other stuff, but not force fields! I have total dominance over force fields. I'm sure this weapon is going to be super effective in Mojave too.

Side note: I was weak caved in to the luring call of the temptress called Pillars of Eternity, but now I have most definitely decided to wait for patches. What better way to do it than continue my playthrough. Big MT (Part 2, now with even more conversations) That sounds bit harsh for "Colosto-diarrhetics". I mean, I've had diarrhea before, but I have never had any psychology problems, right Teddy Bear. These people never learn. Put your points in luck and Mojave smiles with you. No more mountain mishaps or leaning into some bullets. Teddy bear, don't leave home without it. I don't like to brag guys, but I think I just got some. What a energizing way to start exploring the Big Empty.

Memorials problem.
kirottu replied to Ladyjess's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Look look! Whoever is offended by the material of Firedorn Lightbringer. Fix it yourself. There is already a mod out which removes this message. But this is not enough for these People. Again they are trying to push some Agenda nothing else. There is? Well, isn't this the perfect solution for everyone? Those offended by the joke can choose to censor their own playing experience. -
Memorials problem.

I don't think it would please those who got offended by a joke in the first place, but I think it is the best solution. -
Memorials problem.

To me it is joke at straight mans expense. He slept with a man and totally overreacted. Overreaction is a really old method in jokes, like thousands of years old method. Also, I'm sure this joke has been around before Pillars of Eternity and will still be around whatever Obsidian chooses to do. Don't change it please. -
@Alanschu Here's TotalBiscuit explaining this issue better than I could.
-
Oh please no, don't start censoring your games Obsidian. Just don't. Please. There's nothing progressive about censorship.

Seems bit impractical helmet design if it's raining.

Early on during the kickstarter some developer talked about how having two of the same class would give you a buff of some sort. Like if you're playing a wizard you would get a buff when Aloth is in the party. This was because people usually just didn't party with same class NPCs so they wanted to change that. I liked the idea, because that's what I usually did, and it makes sense. People from the same class would work better together since they know their class. But I can't seem to find the buff anywhere in the character panel.

Your RPG system sucks!
kirottu replied to Halsy's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
The main problem with Might is its implementation. Developers say it means two things: physical and mental might, but only refer it as physical might in dialogue. You can't say something is two things and then always treat it as one or another, but never as both. They should have made Might responses class sensitive. Example: 1, [Might 16] You flex your muscles menacingly. 2, [Might 16] The air around you crackles with threat. Fighter would get only option 1, wizard would get only option 2, and hybrid like cipher would get both. -
It's confirmed then. Admin has anti-volournian sympathies.

Major critique: Companion AI is really lackluster and it is worse than it was in IE games. Companions are effectively just empty husks. They know only two things: moving and auto-attack. Please add some sort of customizable conditions when they could use their per rest and per encounter talents/spells. Minor critique: XP gained from lock picking and disarming traps doesn't "feel" right. Wouldn't it be better if you could get only fixed amount of XP per lock/trap level? What I mean is you wouldn't get XP from picking level 1 lock for the tenth time, you know, like it is with combat. Types of enemies have fixed amount of XP to be gained from them, in another words, you get XP from learning how to defeat them. Once you have learned how, you're not getting any more XP from them. Other than these two complaints I'm really impressed by the game. Keep up the good work.

Big MT (Part 1, conversations conversations) That's just rude. I maybe bit hangover-y, but I'm no animal. I am a hunam being! Well, "hello" to you too baby doll. *wink wink* Not that I would either. I mean I do know. Of course I do. Also, mine is totally and absolutely without any nails. Can you think how painful high fiving would be with hand penises? Ouch. This looks like a job for the TV Repair Man! It just happens that "Somehow" is my middle name. I shall do this deed for you, noble TV screens.

GamerGate blamed for flop of Sucker Punch. If you google "Sucker Punch misogyny" can you guess what you're going get? Hint: it isn't some proto GamerGate attacking Sucker Punch. It is Feminist Frequency. This again shows how these people don't even know or agree what feminism/social justice is and how a "journalist" can't do even the most basic research.

Ah PoE, the dragon that looms over this thread. The future is dark indeed. Can our hero continue on? Nobody knows for sure. Also, I don't like Dead Money. It's like one post of screenshots at most, but probably still take me at least couple days more to play through.
