  6. History teacher once told us this really fun thing. Vikings took with them finnish men and before attacking they made finnish men drunk and let them yell and stuff as much as they wanted. This was done during night time so I can think about those poor soon to be ravaged by vikings. "What is that god awful sound? Sounds like there
  7. No it is not permissable. Nor is it for you to lend that DVD to however many people you want. I did look up the facts. The evidence is right before me on the inside of over 50 DVD cases. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you have misunderstood something. As a private person it is okay to me to loan my dvd to other private person, no money involved. I think you mixed this thing with those companies that rent movies.
  8. Oh yeah?! I hate when people start to brag how "big" they are! I HATE YOU!!!! :D
  9. You could indeed, except that I keep my professional life and my gaming hobby totally separate. I don't give out my pen name, or the titles of my work. My publisher does not need to get crack-pot "fan" mail from folks around the web who do not like me (I know, impossible to believe ANYONE wouldn't like ME!! ) I only mention it (although my profession is old news for most folks around the forums) to give credence to the topic of intellectual property theft. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually my dream job would be a writer. That or a massager(sp? for some reason I want to put u between a and g).
  10. There is a little hack
  11. Indeed. I am impressed by the level of creativity. What else can you do with a game? Well lets see... you can play it.. or play it... or : PLAY IT! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> a) Use it for target practice. b) Spray it with anti-bug spray, then use acid just to be sure to get rid off those nasty bugs. c) Make an altar and worship it, because it is the greatest game evar!! d) Challenge Chris Avellone in to duel using kotor 2 cd
  12. It has already become outdated.

  14. Same here. Great minds think alike " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I actually once got 146 in a iq test, but that happened only once and every other time I have got around 120+-. Dumb luck I guess. :D

  16. I steal anime, because I like it too much...
  17. You are wrong. In a family where noone is afraid of spiders, the children doesn't become afraid of spiders. In a family where either the father or the mother is afraid of spiders, the children do become afraid of spiders. We have a few "built in" feelings about what is right or wrong, but 95% (or more) are taught to us by society. Just think about this: if noone was wearing clothes (assuming the climate would allow it), do you think you'd be the only one wearing clothes? If people were masturbating in public, do you think you'd still be sitting in your closet with your wrinkled Playboy's? If your grandparents would have had sex with your parents when they were young, do you think you would still have been a virgin when you were eight? These are all examples that most people feel are horribly wrong, but none of them are genetically transferred. You've just been taught to follow these unwritten rules since you gained consciousness the first time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Gravedigging is fun. *sigh* I never learned how to quote multiple posts. "95% (or more) are taught to us by society." Probably true, but society is entirely a human creation and every society created(no, I don
  18. How's that for fanboyism? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Background is very good looking and the characters don
  19. Freespace 2, *sigh* I played it through so many times. I have a "thing" for space sims. Tie fighter and X-wing were really good games as well. Ah, I remember playing x-wing with 286... It was painfull.
  20. A bug ridden pile o' crap that was released prematurely, lacked originality (after Fallout it claimed so much and delivered less than the first), had no storyline or cohesion (can anyone really say that they gave a f*ck about the villagers after they got abducted?) and was just shallow as hell. I felt no sense of association or loyalty at all to any of the towns (though Reno was pretty fun with the Bishop women...). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> To me fallout 2 was better than fallout after couple of patches. It had lot
  21. I took this from another board that I go. USA sure is funny. It seems if you have a good lawyer you can do almost anything. Whee.
  22. To me fallout was much more than just turnbased combat. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Of course, I never said it was just about turn-based combat, but apart from the brilliant story and atmosphere, the turn-based combat was one of the things that made Fallout so great, imho. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I never understood what made turn-based so great. Everything that is in turn-based combat is also in realtime combat only at faster pace. In fallouts large battles and battles in cities became too tedious. In fallout tactics I used turn-based mainly because controlling group in real time is almost impossible, but fallout 1 and 2 were single player games and fallout 3 will also be most likely. So adding turn based in it would probably be more bad than it
