  1. The saber locations seem to be hard wired into the game and are not random. Each planet has a handful of saber locations. If you have not built a saber yet those locations will have a Part you need instead.. if you have built your saber there will be a fully built saber. the type (double, single, short) will be random. For example Visas battle on your first planet after Telos is one of those locations. If you go back into the ebon hawk and fight her before building a saber you will break her saber get a part from her broken saber. If you go out and get your parts elsewhere before returning to face her then you will get a fully functional saber from her. Same thing with the salvager on Dantooine. If you've already built your saber you will get another one from him. (random type) or if you still need a part you'll get that part. I've tested this with Visas, The Salvager on in the ruins on Dantooine, The huts store room, and the reunited reffugees and you will either get a part or a saber depending on if you buit it yet.
  2. Depends on what you call complete. You will get it moved from active quests to compleated quests after vogga agrees to ship fuel but later in game conversations continue to say fuel is short for Telos.
  3. And when you complete the Jedi redemption quest there will be the occasional Militia member who will say things like "I wish I could be a Jedi too"
  4. I agree. The mines trick is very very helpful at a few points in the game.
  5. she also call you her bounty.. says she's going to jab you with a bothen Stunner, knock you over the head and then starve you for a few days. She's so my gal. Well to be fair Visas I think can be counted as a Female relationship option too since I so far have seen no difference to her playing through my Female game.
  6. turning your party into jedi was the best thing about this game HANDS DOWN! Look and the game assumes you spend lots of time in travel time. this is hinted at in many of the conversations with your NPC. So you can assume that much time is spent in that time training with the lightsaber. It takes more time than a load screen to get from Dantooine to Nar Shadda.
  7. I've played through that part of the game as both male and Female and there was only one Difference in the Female game. When as a Female and you go to talk to Atton about playing Pazzak in his head there will be a different PC line you can say when he asks you to play.. You can say something like "your not talking about playing by Nar shaddaa rules are you" and Atton will reply with "nope, our clothes will stay on" The only other thing I think may be different is he'll say something about when you play in your head you'll be playing pazzak with him. Where as a male I think he just said playing Pazzak.
  8. me too. There are two types but I don't remember the name of the other type. One is green and the other is purple. They both look the same except for the color and the cape on the green one has a pattern on it. In my current play through I have 3 sets of the purple and 2 green so I have a set for all my jedi. Chicks get the purple. Guys get the green.
  9. Sith? no other times that I Can remember but there is one point where a group of slavers will board your ship.
  10. Why isn't it? You basically are telling the wookie that this persons life is more important to you than your own. If the Wookie respects you and your discisions they will agree. Revan may not have been in love with Mission like Han and Leia were but I can very well see Revan having an older brother/sister relationship or some kind of parental relationship with Mission that Zaalbarr would respect.
  11. That's a good plan but I never know if my PC will play games or not. I hate the system requirement issues with PC gaming. Drives me absolutly batty.
  12. I agree. I got the same idea. But then I think that may be dependent on if you said Revan was LS or DS in the beginning. if you say Revan was LS then I think the game may assume Revan was an all around good guy/gal who just got in over his head but if you say you played KOTOR I as a total dark sider then they assume your revan was DS all the way. I'll have to test that theory a bit but maybe someone with more experence with playing DS will have a better idea.
  13. You have to make sure all your actions are either for or against the Exchange. There is something that seems to happen if you do some things that help them and other things that hurt them. You will balance things out and your notice level will be nutral. Either take them out or help them out. Did you kill the quarren incharge of the Refugee section and his guards? If not go back and see if you can talk him into a fight.
  14. he's more of a sub boss. There are two exchange bosses with Tentacles (quarren) so it's easy to confuse them. The one you mind tricked into letting the girl go is also the same one you need to get to back off the refugees. You can go up to him and demand to him that he must stop his harassment or your going to take him out. It'll sound like tough talk but you will get LS points because your standing up for the oppressed. You will then be forced to kill him and his guards. This will however get you noticed by the main exchange boss big time.
  15. I am playing through again as a LS female and I got to the point on Nar Shaddaa where I am training Mira to be a Jedi. The other two times I did this she didn't say this but this time she did. About half way though the training cut scene she busts out laughing and says. "but if I become a Jedi I'll have to turn myself in for the bounty" And also I noticed as a Female you can get her to tell you how to catch a man by asking her if she knows anything about men. This was the same lines she used in the cut scene when I was playing as a Male when she was talking to handmaiden.
  16. Possible repsonses to Atton about her imply that you know full well she isn't walking on the light side of things. Still your character needs to keep her around because of the Force bond thing and the fact she is really your only link to regaining your force powers. I think that's an interesting twist to the game. Forcing you to keep someone you know is a sith around even if your Lightside. Even as a lightside player I was able to get her to show me the scene with her getting kicked out of the sith so my character would have know rather early on she was at least a former sith.
  17. There are too many double Bladed lightsabers in Star Wars games. They are suppose to be this rare weapon that require huge skill to use. Heck my first time through the game at one point I had 1 single blade saber and 4 double blade before I figured out I could save and reload to get a different random saber. Jedi Academy is even worse. You go to the final levels in that game and just about every other Jedi or sith has a saber staff. There is nothing wrong with a game giving the main character one or a special boss battle but they shouldn't be as common as they are. Jedi in the movies and books are almost totally single blade users. The Games should reflect that.
  18. No but you could believe it possible for Revan to convince him to protect Mission instead of him/her to cover the life debt. Same way Han Solo Convinced Chewy to let him go and Watch over the Princess instead in ESB.
  19. Could it have anything to do with what you name your character? I've notice that it will store characters with different names as spereate but if you start a new game with the same name it'll bring up all your old save files from your first game when you go to save it.
  20. This time out there is only one NPC that is optional unlike the first game where you could go through the game and not get HK or Juhani This time HK is the only one who you could go through and not ever have added to your party. You simply just need to choose not to fix him. The others are automatic with the variations that were listed above.
  21. Who's requirements? those 3 dead guys on Dantooine? Do you really care what they think after what they tried to pull? There are no more known Jedi except for Atris who you defeated (and possibly killed) and Bastila assuming you didn't kill her in KOTOR I. Bastila has obviously left the Jedi and Atris if still alive will be yealding to your call on what is and isn't a Jedi I think from that point onward. There is no one but you out there to make requirements for anyone. You can rebuild the Jedi order or just leave it to someone else. The choice is yours. The whole game you are told you are the last of the Jedi. you find out that isn't 100% true but then by the end of the LS game it is. (unless you went the sith route)
  22. Mira is easy to train and I was able to do so before leaving Nar Shaddaa. In fact as far as I can tell you HAVE to be on Nar Shaddaa to train her as a Jedi since there is a location Trigger involved. You have to talk to her. She will get mad at you and you should leave the conversation. Return to it and apologize. This will give you an influence point with here. Then talk to her about listening to Nar Shaddar.. You can then ask her if she wants you to teach her how to listen.. She will say something like "some day maybe I will" Then you need to take her off the ship to the spot in front of the Cantina where Kreia taught your PC how to listen to Nar Shaddaa. A cut scene will kick in and you'll train Mira as a Jedi. With out taking her to this spot you can't train her. She will just continue to agree that some day she'll let you show her. this is the only spot I know of where you can show her.
  23. You can simply save before talking to the duros brothers on Telos and keep reloading your game until you get the robes you want to use for the rest of the game. Yea it's kind of anoying but it actually makes it a bit easier for someone to get the look they want for the game. If there were set locations where you couldn't get dark Jedi Robes until point A then you would always have to wait until point A to get them. (did that make sense?)
  24. No you don't. I think that was a mis quote. You will build your own new saber in this game. You will be told at one point in your game "that's is no longer your lightsaber, it's time for you to build a new one" (paraphrased) You will have a personal Saber Crystal at one point in the game.
  25. When talking to the retired Bounty hunter on Nar Shaddar with handmaiden in your party and he's going over all the bounty hunters.. he mentioned the two Twilik Girls coming after you and a response you can pick is something like "two twilik dancers are coming after me? what
