  1. You are being very intolerant to their intolerance. "
  2. Younglings from a young Earth?
  3. 1. They'll outlive most of us, but not all. They require a host. For this reason alone I would suggest multi-celled organisms were superior (which the armoured arthropods are a type; they turned up just after the sponge): the first organisms to allow for specialisation of the component cells; although you do have a good point about efficiency. 2. depends on your definition of matter: as I posted above, it can be argued that "evilness" is a distinct entity, like "goodness". 3. Even some religions can't give a meaningful definition of evil, preferring to call it a "mystery" to those of good disposition. Interesting to note that Christianity regards evil to be: Pride, Hypocrisy & Indifference -- apathy is death! 4. You might be right. :D After all, if Kreia is able to manipulate objects and people as easily as she is, then how hard could it be for the Force? And, like the guy that keeps getting killed by Arthur Dent, eventually she has put all the clues together and worked out that the Force is against her. (Whether it is or not.) 5. Yep, the Force could just be a small "f" force, like gravity. It might have a centre at neutral, or it might have a focus at any point in the continuum from Light to Dark, or it might even have more than one foci (like an elipse), causing a complex -- i.e. chaos theory non-linear -- interaction with the real universe. It might act on every particle of matter, just as gravity does, according to a set relationship, just like gravity (which is the inverse square of the distance between two particles). 6. Yes.
  4. Which part of Maul's face is tatttooed? The black or the red? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes.
  5. Couldnt say for sure it would end there. Quite possible to have a scene where you just dont bother to go after her, but such things have fallen out of vogue in RPGs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, this is indicative of my mood after the confrontation at Dantooine. I was pretty annoyed that regardless of whatever dialogue option / action I chose, the same events unfolded. Not very RPG, more "follow the bouncing ball" FPS.
  6. -George.. George... -Mhh? -The Martians are attacking. -Is that bad? -Yes, Mr President, I would say that is a bad thing. Should we use all force necessary? -Um, is that a good thing? -Yes, Mr President. -Okay, do that ... thing ... that you .. just said ... then ... :D
  7. ... the fifty-foot rubber trail leading to the "erratically parked" car means that daredevil Evel Knievel was practising his parallel parking.
  8. No, I don't think that we would do that. We wouldn't know if the biological agents would have any effect on them, and wouldn't risk killing thousands of innocent civilians to find out. I think that these kinds of weapons (as well as nukes) would be used as a last ditch effort before mankind is defeated. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All the necessary people would be or have already been vaccinated ...
  9. An old woman is a heroine, generally speaking; after all you have to pretty sick to attack one (not that there isn't a lot of sick, heroine-addicted people out there).
  10. ... A couple of guys go into a bar and get into a fight and then agree to call it quits. (It wasn't very good story, so they decided to rewrite it. :D )
  11. Yeah, my biggest complaint about the first game was length, I wanted more stuff to do ('cause I'm greedy like that). "
  12. where is there a rodian on telos,i didnt see any. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Might not be a Rodian (I don't know SW lore that well): the store guy: one of the twins ...
  13. Whatever imperitive you happened to give him or her. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But I wanted to leave Kreia to her madness. Let her kill herself, who cares? That's about as frightening as suicide terrorists threatening to blow themselves up, without hostages!
  14. Oh come on. That's not something to roll your eyes about. Now you can see the bad a** United States military show those aliens the military might of the human species. But alas, it won't be enough <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Of course, if this was reality then the US (or Russia or China) would just release some of their biological agents that they have stockpiled, like smallpox, and stop the Martians before they get started ... "
  15. Have you got those special attachments Optimus ordered from the factory?
  16. Yep it's down to the capricious god of random loot. I received about three or four last time. And if you can't cheat, then you just have to keep playing. (I got one from the Rodian on Telos, too, but of course that's random as well.)
  17. I'd like a progress report of his progress report on their progress. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am reporting that his progress report is nearly completed, and -- to pre-empt the report -- that will tell us that the restoration team are nearly ready to report on their progress. "
  18. *chuckles* That reminds me of the early scene in MIB, which I watched yesterday ... the redneck comes out to the bug's spaceship and the bug says (off camera): "Drop the projectile weapon on the ground and put your hands on your head." "You can take the run from my cold, dead hands!" "Your proposition is acceptable." :D
  19. Damn suicide trees jumping out in front of cars! Honestly orrificer ... I was innocently minding my own biznezzz ... hic ...
  20. Referring to the KotOR game: An entire world had to be left out due to time constraints. The first pass level art was finished, but time was running out, so we decided to cut it. The world was called Sleheyron and it was one of the many planets in Hutt space. Sleheyron was supposed to be one of the most industrialized worlds in the galaxy. It was going to be a world paved over with layer upon layer of gas refineries, landing bays, slave pens and ship construction yards. The biggest level was going to be a massive coliseum where the Hutt lords pitted their gladiator slaves against one another. We cut several sections out of Tatooine. The Star Map on Tatooine was originally located in the maw of a Sarlacc pit. The player had to find the Sarlacc pit in a cave complex and then figure out how to descend into the pit without becoming the Sarlacc
  21. Ah, but if the Force "seeks balance", doesn't that imply a will? And if the Force is a powerful ontological object with a will, then it is tantamount to a god (or at least a minor deity, anyway). Either: the Force is nothing but a corporeal manifestation of good/evil/both, like some sort of ectoplasmic gravity with an ethical orientation (good points one way, evil the counter-direction); OR the Force is manipulating the universe according to its own (hidden) agenda. So, either we have free will, and we can choose to manipulate the universe according to the laws of physics and metaphysics (which includes this small "f" Force); OR the Force is manipulating the universe and the intelligent beings are deluded in thinking they have free will and the freedom to choose good and evil for themselves. Kreia subscribes to the latter.
  22. REPAIR skill gives the ratio for breaking down components. creating an item is dependent on the paricular skill mentioned and the person creating. (Whether a bug or a feature, the Exile's REPAIR skill is the one used for all calculations, regardless of which character is at the workbench.)
  23. DarthShad, I thought about that but decided since I was only going to focus on storyline questions this would be a better place for it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You might want to put a "Slight Spoilers Possible" warning in the subtext of the title, though, as anyone not finished will come across some information that they might want to find out in game, and this is the General forum.
  24. So what imperative did the Exile have to go and fight Kreia on M5, after the show-dwon with Atris?
