  1. Which is why I said this in reply to CrashT...
  2. I prefer the Sith mask. That one you get from Uthar's room. But I agree, there should be more masks. I wanted Revan's! a shame you get his robes but not the mask, they go together.
  3. Zabrak and Bothan would be nice. which reminds me - have we ever seen a Bothan? Even the official site has no picture. Here is a pic of a Bothan spy in Imperial dress. You have to scroll all the way down to see him. http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swbattlefront/factions.html hmm, so that's a Bothan. not what I expected. it'd be cool to include them tho. I still remember the "many bothans died" line from RotJ... always refered to but never seen. anyway, thanks for the link.
  4. heh, who wants to see Bastila 'kiss' a guy with pale skin, yellow eyes, and veins popping outta his face? not a pretty sight.
  5. At least the robes have hoods now - better still if they can be up or down. As for armor over/under clothing, not sure about this. It would be nice, I agree. But then you'd have to remove robe bonuses... A Jedi is already powerful so imagine if they had robes and armor... they'd be untouchable.
  6. The return of Carth, eh? Well, I'm not too surprised. It makes sense to include him since we visit Telos. I hope he tells a story about his 'brave' exploits on the unknown world. That should be worth hearing. I like the sound of that.
  7. Were they really more powerful? Until you found some good crystals ordinary melee weapons were better. There's some good blades available early in Kotor.
  8. Well, then you'd get people complaining that the lightsaber is overpowered. Just like we're seeing here. But I agree with you, the lightsaber should be the most powerful melee weapon.
  9. Good for you... I don't have anything to contribute either. "hi" back at ya.
  10. actually, lightsabers were underpowered, but some melee weapons were far too strong. I expect sabers to remain as they are with maybe a few tweaks. They can easily add better crystals to customize your saber. Nothing too radical, we don't want to overpower them in Kotor2.
  11. Zabrak and Bothan would be nice. which reminds me - have we ever seen a Bothan? Even the official site has no picture.
  12. hmm, very suspicious this blackout. I don't see the need for one unless it is important later. It's not amnesia but it serves the same purpose.
  13. hehe, only 1 vote for Carth! And none for Zalbaar!
  14. Give Canderous a Baragwin Assault Blade and you'll realize how underpowered sabers are In fact, I almost used those with my own character, a Jedi. hmm, something wrong there.
  15. I'd like one hit kills but only if you are very high level. The same applies for enemies. It would be no fun to keep dying from a random hit. Lightsabers should be far more dangerous though, and have a clear advantage when facing 'swords'. Cortosis weave on every melee weapon was silly.
  16. it's a shared inventory, which is also unrealistic. If you were to make strength a factor would that mean the strongest character decides how much you carry, or the party as a whole? I think you'd have to remove shared items for that to work.
  17. It's a lot of extra work just to include a single character. I think Revan will be a cameo anyway, or his fate is told to us. Avoids a lot of hassle.
  18. btw, anyone else finding the site slow right now? it took me ages to post that reply.
  19. yeah, I keep forgetting about the lightside ending. I suppose they could say he falls to the DS again and dons the robes and mask, but LS players might not like that explanation. I still think it makes sense to put Revan in the robes/mask, it avoids the problem of appearance, unless he/she speaks then you have gender to deal with.
  20. No need for a face if he wears the robe and mask.
  21. Good point. It's also game over if you choose the wrong option during your trial, so making stupid decisions, and paying for them, is fine by me.
  22. Why ?!? It's a finesse-based style than the hack n' slash you got in Kotor. Power attacks, flurries, critical strikes and all that stuff. No. Dooku fought as a duelist should not just hacking away with a saber until the other guy drops.
  23. If Count Dooku's dueling style is included I'll be very happy.
  24. yeah, that makes a huge difference. The first time I played I didn't sell those bonds at Yavin so I couldn't go crazy and buy everything I wanted, but the second time I did and managed to equip the entire party with premium items. quite unbalancing actually, to receive a large amount of cash so quickly. It would be better if Yavin station had never existed, imo. That needs to change. the amount of medpacs you get during the game is ridiculous.
