  1. The first time through, Peragus was more interesting than Taris. On the fourth time through, Taris was more interesting than Peragus, because part of the latters appeal is solving the mystery of what happened. Taris is your standard bash everything and leave never to come back planet. That being said, of all the planets of the two games, Taris probably ranks third on my list (after Dxun & Nar Shaddaa).

    Bah, you are just prejudiced.

    Compulsory obsessive pen clicking...
  4. Tomb Raider (awesome game for it's time) Carmageddon (splat!) Fallout (what got me into PC gaming in the first place) Syndicate Wars (corporate management was never more fun) X-Com Apocalypse (yes, I actually liked that one) Defender of the Crown (the game was so simple, yet so addictive) Lords of Midnight (the ultimative 8 bit game) Master of Orion 2 (will we ever get anything like that again ?) Ultima IV (first crpg to truly capture my imagination and getting me lost to the world in a computer game) Elite (Bell, Braben, you suck. Shake hands, make up, make a new game dammit!) All of those are old games, some of which had sequels, but to the best of my knowledge more sequels in name than anything else... >_
  5. Easy. Half Caucasian, Half Indian, Half Asian. There you go
  6. Which means... you should really love the company... You go girl, grab your shotgun, it's still twitching
  7. The small print on contracts ?
  8. Nice pixels
  9. I sure hope they are right when they sayn, not to take these seriously You scored as River Tam. The Fugitive. You are clever and dangerous, which is a nasty combination. The fact you are crazy too just adds to your charm. They did bad things to you, but you know their secrets. They will regret how they made you. River Tam 75% Capt. Mal Reynolds 69% The Operative 69% Shepherd Derrial Book 69% Zoe Alleyne Washburne 63% Hoban 'Wash' Washburne 44% Jayne Cobb 44% Kaylee Frye 44% Inara Serra 38% Simon Tam 25%
  10. Cube is aweseome  I've seen Cube, Cube 2 (Hypercube) and Cube Zero Cube 2 is the stuff you wouldn't even offer your toilet, so bad is it. Cube Zero is bad, but nowhere near the suckiness of Cube 2 (it was more an attempt to return the style of the first movie). Personal favourites... hmm. Possibly "Leon" and "The Fifth Element" Honourable mention: "Bladerunner"
  11. *Sigh*... wonder if and when they are going to show it here Back to watching the DVD's again

You are right. Ender seemed to have an issue with this one: Which is quite ironic as he himself has turned harassment and impersonating into an artform: And regarding public posting of mod disagreements: Italicised by me. He publicly named both moderators and the company (and by association, it's employees) as racists or supporters of racism. I used to have have a great deal of respect for Ender, but that has dropped considerably lately, with the "rules apply to everybody but me" attitude

I wonder about the cause of that. I live in Wellington and do have an internet connection (Q.E.D.), so it must be something more... Mystery! :p"
  15. I love it, but I also know it's an acquired taste. It definitely helps if you are also into miniature collecting and painting as that is a large part of the hobby.
  16. Will there ever be a Resident Evil game where you get to play the zombies, chasing Jill Valentines all over the place and eat them without getting shot to pieces ?
  17. Is that why you have been busy "breaking in" new mods ? :D
  18. I couldn't resist A) It's Darque, local liason for all things shuffling and horror survival and B) As a grinning skull, I'm partial to undeads
  19. This thread is fun
  20. Ddin't we have a similar thread very recently ?!? Ah well, crpg's I remember for their music too: VMBL, PS:T, Fallout and Ultima IV (C64 Version)
  21. I'm not sure if tabletop wargames count, if so, I used to play Warhammer and Necromunda. Apart from that, the only two board games I used to play were some old Avalon Hill stuff, one called "Wooden Ships & Iron Men" from the age of sail and one called "Flat Top" which covered the Pacific war in WWII. It has been quite a few years since playing though, mostly due to a lack of opponents
  22. JS Made some good music for Icewind Dale. The Kotor music was rather forgettable (I try, but I just can't remember any of it). I still remember parts of the Kotor2 score though, so based on recent memories, Griskey gets the vote. Mind you, Kotor2 is the only MG music I know, so it's not really a fair comparison.
