  1. Yep. But they are only mild spoilers, nothing you probably don't know already. The only thing I didn't know about ep. 3 and found out playing the game was something about General Grievous. But even that I can't be sure because the game isn't exactly like the movies. But if you want to be on the safe side, just don't play the ep. 3 part until you see the movie.
  2. It's not exactly as in the movie. Suffice to say that two players can play the game at any point, even when in the movies there was a single protagonist. For example, when Obi goes to Kamino to inspect the clones, he's supposed to be alone. But in the game, one player controls Obi, and the other controls his astromech droid. )
  3. No. If their handling of TSL continues in the current vein then people won't even pick up NWN2 if there is only the slightest hint of the quality issues that are plaguing TSL, because it means those issues won't get fixed. HA! Fanboyism and overhype will beat common sense and cautious consuming ANYTIME. NWN2 will be a big hit just like K2 has been.
  4. 'Nuff said. Well, not really. To get the most out of this game it's better if you have a friend to play with. 2 players means 2x fun. If the game has a flaw, it's that it's a bit short. You can beat it in like 5-6 hours. But replaying it to get the extra stuff in free play mode is just as fun. In short, get it already!
  5. Okay Nur, since it seems you are not only unbelievably stupid, but also you can't even f*cking read (because that catholic stuff has been explained like 4 times or so), I'm going to make an argument using your own logic. I'm risking permanent brain damage here, but still. Here it goes: My postcount > your postcount. Which means: My opinions > your opinions. And following your logic, even though it's a self evident truth and not necessarily linked to the previous propositions: I > you. And tell your therapist to up your medication. The presently prescribed dose isn't preventing you from getting stupider.
  6. How would you know? Have you watched all the porn? " And *ahem*, that depends on what you understand by "acting". Okay, I'm going to take a long, cold shower now.
  7. I see you got a kickass LEGO® Star Wars avatar, too. Good job, Jags. Soon, we will be millions. Millions, I say!
  8. Oh. I get it now. Well, you see, judging from your posting, it's likely you are just a frustrated assmaster. See, since it's just "likely", and not a proven fact (but it should be pretty evident to anyone with half a brain) I don't need to prove it, or even back it up any further.
  9. Well, atheism is just another creed to me. The sentence I quoted is as much a dogma as the immortality of the spirit. People who wield a dogma as a counter to another dogma always bring up a chuckle with me. Indeed. People who claim to use logic to explain things that logic was never meant to explain strike me as either extremely arrogant, or extremely narrowminded. I don't know what's worse. However, I don't like the idea of "anything goes" very much, either. I choose to think that science is enough to explain the limited parcel of reality that we perceive (even if it's not as we perceive it), and then some.
  10. Oh Nur, these boards wouldn't be the same without your creative quoting. I mean, it's so freaking hilariously original that I can't believe a brain damaged (due to long-term exposure to TotJ) simian like yourself was able to do it. So tell me, what's your secret? Do you pay your kindergarten pals to hit your head with a brick every morning until you can't tell the difference between your nuts and the keyboard? Or is it a genetic flaw? If so, you should immediately notify the authorities so they can castrate you and prevent your disease from being spread. But come think of it, it's not like a jackass like yourself is going to get any, so I think we are safe. Keep trying, I hear that if you just randomly bash your head against the keyboard enough times, it's a mathematical certainty that you will eventually write something relevant, or at least, coherent.
  11. Biggest nonsense you've ever written. I can never get enough of you making a fool of yourself, assclown.
  12. No, that is not proof. In fact, you copied that from "what's likely but not certain?", meaning those are just theories, justified under certain interpretations of data. The validity of that data, and the validity of the interpretations and therefore the conclusions themselves, is highly debatable. Again, show me proof.
  13. No, he's not really a Christian. He's a Catholic. It's not necessarily the same. And from a pragmatic standpoint, it's a good thing that the Pope is an ultra-conservative. It's a fact that stagnant institutions are much more likely to crumble than those which are able to adapt to the new times.
  14. It's probably the certainty of knowing you will end up killing The President the feeling you are talking about.
  15. Because in metals, the atoms that compose the metal aren't specifically bonded to their adjacent neighbors, but rather, to the mass of metal itself, due to electrostatic attraction caused by the "electronic gas". If we are to believe that the structure of glass allows for molecules of SiO2 to change location like that, the atoms of the metal should be able to do the same. And the same goes for covalent solids with weak intermolecular forces (but strong enough to keep it solid at room temperature). But as I said, I'm no chemist, so I'm probably wrong.
  16. How come I missed this thread? I will only add to what Morgoth wrote that the game world seems pretty static. For instance, after the beheading sequence, people stood there for like 5 minutes, in silence, staring at the now-headless corpse. I can't say for sure if they stayed there longer, because after talking to the most scruffy-looking president of all the post-apoc games I've seen, I left. Another detail. In the battle with the wolves that Morgoth mentioned, I tried to fall back and lure them to the gates of the New Govt. so the tough guys with rifles there would earn their pay. Well, it seems they aren't paid enough, because they allowed the wolves to tear me up quite nicely. Also, it seems the wolves don't like the taste of gate guards, because they ignored them completely. That is the kind of things that make it hard for players to immerse in the game. It's a damn shame this game turned out to be such a disappointment. I was really looking forward to this one.
  17. Interesting. I don't buy it, though. If that was true, it should affect metals, and weakly bonded covalent solids as well. But I'm no chemist so what do I know.
  18. I was mistaken alright. "Bella" is the plural form of "bellum", not the other way around. In Latin, depending on the function one word has within a sentece, its morphology changes. I believe it's called the "inflections" of a word, in English.
  19. In fact both of you are correct. If I'm not mistaken, "bella" is the singular for "bellum". Interestingly enough, "bella" is a feminine adjective meaning "beautiful" in spanish.
