  1. Fix'd. Naw. He'd buy it all the same.
  2. Well, the fps hit my games take if go for too much AA is what kills the suspension of disbelief for me. It might make the game nearly unplayable, too. Yep, if I had
  3. Hey Child, I don't know about the avatar. I think there was some guy that tried to have a "Hitler munching on a watermelon slice" avatar, but the mods shot him down... I'll add that one up to my collection of disturbing avatars, right up there with the weird sad dancing boy.
  4. That is a random assumption to make, as life has no intrinsic "value". However, man has the power to kill any animal. And in the wild, might makes right. So, whatever.
  5. Yeah. That's why I never buy them drinks. Usually, I try to have them buy me drinks instead. A wasted effort most of the time, but it's still fun to try. Nah, not really.
  6. Yeah, I already said it's stupid. Somebody that routinely engages in a stupid activity might safely be considered a stupid himself. Sport hunters are a very reduced group, however. I don't think it's a representative sample of the maturity state of the human race.
  7. I'll gladly trade a few more fps for some aliasing, thank you.
  8. If it bothers you, that's what the report button is there for. Considering that comments about armed revolution get edited out, I think your chances of any sexist remarks being removed are quite high. Personally, I pay no mind to Gabs. Her posts are mostly worthless spam, anyway. It'd be hypocritical of me to pay attention to those particular posts.
  9. I've never gone hunting myself, but I don't have a problem with it. The few times I've tried some kind of meat obtained this way instead of a slaughterhouse, I found it tasted much better, though. So I guess hunting is fine with me. Killing animals just for the hell of it is stupid, however. I don't see where the thrill is in killing a bear from 500 metres with a high powered rifle. Stupid, but not wrong. Animals don't have civil rights. There are much worse things happening out there to sentient beings to worry about such nonsense.
  10. Sure thing. That's why I post "I liek poop" from time to time, too.
  11. Damn, and does that feel good.
  12. It's just a matter of words, really. You see, the word "intelligence" was made up to describe a trait possessed by the human species, not found in any other lifeform we have encountered thus far. So, by definition, a human being is intelligent. And about the topic, I agree 100% with Walsh.
  13. Yeah, I guess the idea of having all the fans he had trained to frantically be up-to-date purchase a new series of books didn't really set him back, either. That's ok I guess, everyone has to make a living. Yep, I agree with that. It was a real mess. But then again, what is "canon" and what is not doesn't really matter to me, unless it substracts from immersion. Therefore, I'll keep playing VtM for the time being. The Requiem books rank really low in my priorities list.
  14. Biker Mice From Mars. The Mega Man series.
  15. Um, sure. I know firsthand the effects of posting while drunk. And pay no mind to my "bile". You know I just mean to provoke those very outbursts...
  16. Of course I would care if there was a terrorist attack on Danish soil. You should have gathered as much by now. It's an important part of morality to stand up for what is wrong, regardless of whom those wrongs affect. Funny how you get all hot and bothered about Iraq being occupied, but you don't care about civvies being blown to pieces in terrorist attacks. Funny. That's funny, too, as the UN is nothing but a lobby, where those who have the power gather to put the pressure on those who don't, under a veil of diplomacy and concordia. Sorry to break it to you, but the UN are a farce, pal.
  17. Actually, you did: Man, I might not be able to distinguish between Danish and Dutch, but at least I do remember what I wrote 2 posts ago.
  18. No, I have no problem with people having different opinions, as long as they are able to back them up. Newsflash: "Bite Me" isn't worth jack as an argument. With Hades is different as I don't really care about his stance, I just point out to the fundamental flaw in his approach. I'm arguing from a factual perspective with him. With you, however, it's different. You don't care if innocent people are slaughtered, as long as they don't make a mess in your backyard. That is morally wrong. It's an interesting contradiction, as you accuse others of the same hipocrisy you can be faulted with. You see, I argue. Like mommy and daddy, does that ring a bell? You, on the other hand, "can't be bothered", and throw out preteen retorts. Keep it up, "man".
  19. Right. Danish. Blame it on the lack of sleep.
  20. What's with the puke emoticon, anyway?
  21. Indeed. Unfortunately, few people realize that, and prefer to picture the US as The Evil Empire, or in the other extreme, the last stalwart of freedom and democracy. How comfortable it is to see the world in black and white.
  22. Autarchy doesn't work.
  23. Perhaps. Or perhaps not. Nobody really knows. However, that has nothing to do with the US protecting their interests. And that is what this was about.
  24. Right. And what does that have to do with anything?
