  1. You talking to yourself, bub?
  2. Stupid AI I tell ya. There's no damned pause button either. I might have to reload that game. However, save on those bonus levels, their freaking cheap. I think St. Louis is the one where you basically have to take a hill.....that's surrounded by trenches......filled with super mutants......with one narrow pass up the hill....manned by supermutant snipers that use machine guns as such. Sick. I could never get up that hill. The game cheats. Its like instant kill the moment you walk on that path up the hill. In fact it's not that the game cheats. It's a bug with how the game manages the spread from burst fire. You see, if an enemy shoots one of your characters with an automatic weapon from the other side of the map, they'll miss (naturally). However, anyone near the intended target of the burst will always get hit by the burst spread. The bug works for the player just the same, too. If I'm not mistaken you should have come by a sniper rifle by that point, or there's one you can get in that mission. That, stealth, and grenades (loads of 'em) are the way to go in St. Louis. Certain Deathclaws (the one that "specialises in disembowelment" and Mother, I think) can make short work of lone muties too, if you can sneak up to them. The second part is to take all the heavy weaponry you get in that mission back to base...
  3. Wait a second. The main reason why this debate keeps going (as it has, and it will) is because while you can't prove the existence of a God, you can't disprove it either. It's by definition impossible. So, what's that "evidence" you're talking about, again? Human manipulation of and based on religion and the concepts of spirituality and metaphysical realities beyond our own are different things; moral judgements derived from the former are of no consequence to the possible validity of the latter.
  4. The RPG crowd are crying out for for a stick figure game, AND YOU KNOW IT!

    So get to work already.

  5. Unfortunately the books have been discontinued, so finding them in stores will be a tad difficult. I don't know what's the legal status on the IP, though, so I wouldn't know if it would be legit to acquire them via P2P. Perhaps Kafty can be of more help since he was in a similar situation when we ran our V:tM game.
  6. You know only the fabrications you have read and deduced. Your god is not tangible therefore you cannot justly say you "know" anything about it. We all know the stories and you repeating them does not strengthen the case. We all perceive it as we wish and that is our prerogative. While, it is your prerogative to try and sway us you have done nothing but regurgitate, in my mind, drivel. When I say show me evidence you show me unproven stories and romantic fantasies. Your deductions and perceptions are not proof. I want evidence that is proved to the extent that it can be proven. Wherein, I am asking for tangible evidence not more "insight" into fictional stories. Prove that you are in and of yourself, and not just a figment of my imagination. I will settle for the reverse, too.
  7. Whatever.
  8. But please, keep 'em coming! I can never get enough of animal sexuality.
  9. Well, an in-game explanation is given for the way this branch of the BoS operates. An explanation that meshes well with the BoS plot from FO2 in which their sectarian philosophy has caused their numbers to dwindle to the point of having to outright abandon some of their outposts. I don't see how that's irreconcilable with the canon established in FO and FO2, really.
  10. Can you step out of character for just a moment and be more specific? Because, in fact, it's looking more and more like it's you who is entrenched in a set opinion, that no amount of discussion can affect. But who am I kidding anyway. You are Hades after all.
  11. I'm rating you one... just so we have an excuse to make a mess. :D

  12. No, I mean, present facts, and then we can discuss your interpretation. Heh, there might even be some obscure stuff in the game that I didn't notice. Or are you saying your opinion is completely baseless?
  13. I find it somewhat disturbing that 100% of your threads are about animal sexuality...
  14. How exactly is that accomplished? facts plz
  15. LOL It's a tactical squad combat game. It's a Fallout game. By your own admission, it's a good tactical combat game. How can it be a bad Fallout game if it's good? Doublethink at its finest.
  16. We need more borderline criminal priest mods like you, man!

  17. OMG hihi Sur ASL?

Er... I mean, it is a distinct pleasure to make your acquaintance, good sir.

  18. Seems to me like it'll be like the inevitable step in everyone's life that is getting a job. You may postpone it and kid yourself all you want, but eventually you'll have to get around to it...
  19. Those that are able to overcome the fallacies and pointlessness in moral relativism. Why, the majority, of course. And are all cultures equal? Does a culture have an intrinsic value? How solid, developed, and most importantly (since morals provide the foundation for civilization), efficient are those diverse "outlooks"? What is the purpose of morality; to provide welfare and ultimately happiness to its adherents, or just to ensure their survival, prosperity, and supremacy? Even though I'm not really providing any insight into morality with those questions, I think they shed some light on why moral relativism isn't a valid standpoint in any discussion that hopes to progress in a way different than a m
  20. Who the hell is this "Mustipicon?" person Revan_Returns is referring to, anyway?
  21. I liked the FO encounter system better than any other game's, to be honest. That kind of calculated unbalance was quite fun, helped to maintain the suspension of disbelief, and could be exploited to get some fat hardware early on...
  22. Yeah... if this keeps going, it won't be long before the first "I'm quitting teh internets forevah!!!1" threads begin to appear... ^_^
  23. Neat for the most part, but it needs some polish. Loads of new features, too, if most of them are superfluous. Blog? User comment? User picture? User rating? Hmm... EDIT: Hey! Why did they remove the "online/offline" tags? EDIT2: Nevermind that... I've noticed now.
  24. I used to keep my eye on that one for some time... I didn't know they had made so much progress! d/l'ing now.
