  1. Can you step out of character for just a moment and be more specific? Because, in fact, it's looking more and more like it's you who is entrenched in a set opinion, that no amount of discussion can affect. But who am I kidding anyway. You are Hades after all.
  2. No, I mean, present facts, and then we can discuss your interpretation. Heh, there might even be some obscure stuff in the game that I didn't notice. Or are you saying your opinion is completely baseless?
  3. I find it somewhat disturbing that 100% of your threads are about animal sexuality...
  4. How exactly is that accomplished? facts plz
  5. LOL It's a tactical squad combat game. It's a Fallout game. By your own admission, it's a good tactical combat game. How can it be a bad Fallout game if it's good? Doublethink at its finest.
  6. Seems to me like it'll be like the inevitable step in everyone's life that is getting a job. You may postpone it and kid yourself all you want, but eventually you'll have to get around to it...
  7. Those that are able to overcome the fallacies and pointlessness in moral relativism. Why, the majority, of course. And are all cultures equal? Does a culture have an intrinsic value? How solid, developed, and most importantly (since morals provide the foundation for civilization), efficient are those diverse "outlooks"? What is the purpose of morality; to provide welfare and ultimately happiness to its adherents, or just to ensure their survival, prosperity, and supremacy? Even though I'm not really providing any insight into morality with those questions, I think they shed some light on why moral relativism isn't a valid standpoint in any discussion that hopes to progress in a way different than a m
  8. Who the hell is this "Mustipicon?" person Revan_Returns is referring to, anyway?
  9. I liked the FO encounter system better than any other game's, to be honest. That kind of calculated unbalance was quite fun, helped to maintain the suspension of disbelief, and could be exploited to get some fat hardware early on...
  10. Yeah... if this keeps going, it won't be long before the first "I'm quitting teh internets forevah!!!1" threads begin to appear... ^_^
  11. Neat for the most part, but it needs some polish. Loads of new features, too, if most of them are superfluous. Blog? User comment? User picture? User rating? Hmm... EDIT: Hey! Why did they remove the "online/offline" tags? EDIT2: Nevermind that... I've noticed now.
  12. I used to keep my eye on that one for some time... I didn't know they had made so much progress! d/l'ing now.
  13. No, that was just captain Needa.
  14. Associated how? In a manner that excludes any other ruleset that can perform similarly (or better) from being used for that setting?
  15. Just you wait...
  16. Apparently, you are contradicting yourself: If the focus of the site is, as you claim, not to convince people not to buy the game, but to inform and present the game as it is in an objective, unbiased way, there's no need to put up a new site, as the flood of previews, reviews and reports is inevitable with a project like this. So you are not content with just not getting a game you don't like. You want to impose yout view of what you think the game should be on the developers themselves, by having their product fail. This is fanaticism, in the worst possible way. Yay.
  17. Can we say... faulty logic?
  18. Indeed, education programs need a funds injection, real bad.
  19. In fact, Tactics was a pretty awesome squad-based tactical combat game. You have yet to come up with a valid argument to back your claim that "SPECIAL can't work in real time". Your not being able to manage it does not hold much weight around these parts, since you have proven that without a play-during-pause feature, you can't quite play RPGs. No. That's more like converting the crappy d6 Star Wars RPG into the undoubtedly better d20 system. Oh noes, foiled again! Huh? Then by definition it's not proof. The only thing sadder than an elitist about something trivial is a failed elitist about something trivial.
  20. And thus, it's finally admitted that all there's behind this effort is resentment and bitterness. Sad in many ways, really.
  21. Volo makes an evasion roll to avoid damage from Point To Obvious Blunder:(1) automatic failure!
  22. She said most people wouldn't bother protesting. It'd be a pretty sad and unsuccessful franchise if the rabid punks at NMA&Co. accounted for most of the fanbase. You fail reading comprehension.
  23. And more importantly, why should anyone take it upon themselves to babysit those people?
  24. Anti-hype? What is that supposed to mean, exactly? Are they going to write unbiased reviews and rate the game regardless of its name? And if so, why do they need to put up yet another site just for that? There's plenty of sites that'll offer way more objective reviews than the likes of NMA could ever aspire to. Looks like a high-profile attempt at selling their own vision of what a Fallout game should be. Non-hostile? That'll be the day. "Lies about its greatness"? According to whom? Because a great many people think the game is "great" indeed, so... Yeah, "true" as in copy-paste from Fallout. Not gonna happen, though, so they'll whine all the same and pat themselves on the back because they were right all along. Either way, they win, huh?
