While I agree with you, the fact that all the limmerick threads are being locked is troubling to me. It doesn't make me throw them under the bus, but it sets the path that many other studios that I despise went...hell I see myself in the foreseeable future only playing Japanese games, good thing they are releasing stuff in Steam. But at least they asked Firedorn, this is more than we can expect in this day and age of almost any Studio. At any rate, what is this doing in a GG discussion?

To me if it were an outrage coming from a trans person who didn't joke constantly about committing Genocide on all cis men, I would actually have a completely different view than I have on the issue, and I would support Obsidian more on their decission. But we are talking about a person whose outrage is clearly not real, and only joy came from "making them having to change it", even if the change is still taking the piss on her, the important sign here is that she demanded, and Obsidian obeyed. Seriously, I may not be very knowledgeable of how trans people live nowadays, but I don't think the situation has changed a lot from my days at Uni, and dude, they DO need to have thick skin, mostly because the ones that don't end up comitting suicide before their twenties. You can't guarantee anything, but your reasoning seems to be lacking. If Obsidian was doing this to appease the SJW; then why would they approve this more offensive version where SJW's are insulted in the joke? Also, if they were trying to avoid a stink they wouldn't have done a thing. Because it ain't about outrage, what SJW's want is not what they claim they want. What they want is the knowledge that whenever they cry, companies will spin around their finger so they can feel comfy. Is is about power, not inclusivity.

I'd hate to have the outlook on life a lot of these people have, they seem to look for ways to be offended because it makes them feel better for some reason. It's bizarre, how can they enjoy anything? Do not. Their outrage is to feel themselves justified in order to enforce their authoritarian views in others, because that is the only thing they enjoy. Take a peek at her response, now she feels powerful that she made Obsidian change something, it was never about trans people, it was ever about outrage, it is about making a company backpedal to their desires.
