  1. OMG. The more time I spend with this game the more infuriated I get about the beyond terrible inventory management interface. I know it's a Bethesda trademark but at least an option to "sort by last added" should be there.
  2. You want a "two-shot" weapon or a weapon with explosive ammo. What do you mean by "two-shot". I usually carry a fat man as backup for those beefy baddies. I don't like missile launchers because I find them quite slow compared to damage provided. It's one of the legendary weapon specialties, the weapon will fire two bullets instead of just one, making it twice as potent per shot. I personally prefer the one that does double damage to enemies with full health. Makes single shot kills while sniping such a breeze. Hmm. I hadn't thought about that possibility. Thanks.

  4. Well, both Underrail and Age of Decadence are single-character turn-based isometric (or pseudo-isometric, whatever) titles. But the problem is that controlling a single character offers a limited amount of tactical options in a turn-based, grid-based environment. I am playing Fallout 4 right now but I think I am going to purchase that Age of decadence game. It looks pretty good for my RPG tastes. I will check underrail too.
  5. Is it me or do most non-energy weapons suck big time?. Sneaking/Sniping is my specialty but I have yet to find a good auto assault rifle or even a good semi-auto sniper one. Bolt action rifles are painfully slow. Also, now that are level 30+, most 10mm or .38 ammo based gun are just laughable. I like to tinker so I have the fourth level in gun nut too (and two or three levels in science too). Shotguns are pretty good too but I am out of ammo now.
  6. Let's hope it's true. It would be a very welcome addition.
  7. I still haven't got my hands on any of these but If I am not mistaken Gauss Rifle is not an energy weapon (at least it wasn't in Fallout 2/3). I have a gamma pistol though. I think it does radiation damage, so pretty useless against ghouls I guess.
  8. Despite all the legit criticism I am still enjoying F4 a lot. And yesterday one random battle made me chuckle. I was travelling through the wasteland (I am level 28 now I think) while I heard the sound of some vertibirds. A BOS airborne detachment was initiating an assault to a mutan infested location. I lent them a hand but despite my efforts, a knight died after all mutants were dead by engaging a boafly. LOL. *** SPOILERS BELOW
  9. LOL. I remember to have started playing it. The white paper idea wasn't bad per se but the game was poorly developed.
  10. I also find weird that after planting some mines, V.AT.S. highlight them as primary targets if they are close to you than the intended enemies.
  11. Damn. I have replaced Dogmeat for Codsworth to try out. I think I will re-enlist him...
  12. I agree with most of has been posted so far. I think this game suffers from the well-known "consoles are holding back PC possibilities" issue.
  13. Yep. This thread is wishful thinking at its best.
  14. It's a bit long even for an average estimate. I understand your frustration. That's why I invested on a SSD just for my games partition. I knew it would not give me more FPS, but the loading times are sweet.
  15. Are you running the game from a regular hard disk or from ssd? I feel your frustation 20-30s per loading zone seems too much. If I recall correctly loading was quite snappy on my SSD (maybe around 5-10s).
  16. Hello. I haven't made up my mind yet. I have a compressed savegame with all the savegames at the end of PoE. I hope I won't have to start from scratch if I eventually buy myself the white march Part 1. I also hope theres is no issue if I start it with the level my party was when it reached the endgame. Now, don't misunderstand me. PoE is a fine game but for some odd reason (I was a backer) I didn't enjoy it as much as older IE games. I absolutely love Turn based combat. Nowadays, playing any RPG without TBC is a major letdown for me. I could't explain it or put my finger on it. And now I am waiting for Fallout 4 and even more Divinity OS 2 (yes, I had a hell of a good time with D:OS). Comments are welcome.
  17. I am playing Divinity: Original Sin now. I had skipped it and finished PoE before. It's pretty fun to be honest.
  18. Hmm. Chris Avellone resembles a bit Real Madrid's goalkeeper Iker Casillas...
  19. I miss Troika's games even with all these bugs.
  20. Off-topic note: If you want to lower motion sickness effect you could try disabling USWC (Uncached Speculative Write Combining) for your graphic card (if you are under Windows). An easy way to do this is running Wagnard's DisableUSWC utility. Run it, add key, reboot, test. If you don't like the results, run it again, remove key, and reboot.
