If you look at one of the movies on IGN or gamespot, you see Kreia pull her hood up when you meet her. This may be the only time she does it, but it's what I was referring to.

She only does it in cutscenes not in the realtime game.

But thats the thing they always do, the republic and jedi both fight the sith to a point of near destruction then they always back off. I don't know why but it seems that they always assume that the sith are dead and gone but instead they leave a couple to survive and rebuild. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If they didn't do so there'd be no "desperate struggle between good and evil" and thus, there'd be no story. It doesn't make sense logically, but makes sense plotwise.

Well it hasn't gone "Gold" yet, but you're probably right in that they've had all the basic character models in for a bit by now. Guess it doesn't matter because the game'll still be good.

Can you explain this ?What racists on Telos? What you're saying here is logical but I kind of disagree. The Old Republic sith are worshippers of power, in whatever form. They have a sort of meritocracy/social darwinism thing going on. They don't seem to look at people in terms of human/alien, but rather useful/useless or powerful/powerless. Palpatine, on the other hand, eliminated all powerbases to further the worship of himself. Most likely the Empire's racism came from Palpatine having to deal with aliens such as gungans or viceroy dudes. Most likely the abundance of sithoid humans came from bioware animator laziness. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can see that. I was just thinking that maybe the empire's policies could be traced back to the Sith's earlier history and was attempting to make a connection. It was a rather bad connection it seems, but oh well!

The empire is racist against Aliens and women. It stands to reason that this policy carries over from anceint Sith traditions (i.e. the Sith traditions in the Kotor games).

It's spelled Sion though. And there are 3 sith lords supposedly (him being one of them). That would mean they all have apprentices unless... What if Sion's the apprentice, just like you said and he's not the 3rd Sith lord! That would mean there's still one more out there, that probably won't be revealed prematurely. Oooooh...

I agree. It's already been hinted that there are some other Jedi in hiding, you're the only one dumb enough (or unfortunate enough) to make yourself known. It looked like the Jedi had been crushed at the birth of the empire, but they came back. I tend to agree with Jolee's thinking: everything goes in one big cycle in the end. I think I like that the game has a "perilous" feel to it, but I'll have to see if I like the overall dark tone. It'll probably be great though.

So then that means there are only 3? That makes no sense. Who's the master and apprentice of whom? Wouldn't there need to be at least 4 for that to work? And if they are all seperate "sith lords" then wouldn't each of them need an apprentice? If that's correct, there would be 6 major Sith to beat in the game *goes off to polish lightsaber*

Yeah, Bandon was written to be a stepping stone, nothing more. It seems you'll be encountering Sion several times though before you finally kill him. I'm wondering exactly how many sith lords there are (one article I read hinted there might be more than 3. I would think there at least need to be 4 to make 2 master/apprentice teams) and if you have to kill them all. If that's the case, you might end up getting rid of sion relatively early in the game. Also, I'm not sure how the sith lord thing works. I heard each one was the head of a class (sith maruader, sith lord, etc), but I don't know if that's confirmed or what. Anyone know the answer to these questions?

The destroyed droid is probably the one mentioned in that screenshot that caused a rukus. It says that the prevoius droid walked into a mine or something. Chris Avellone himself told us not to take anything out of context though, so it wa sprobbably some random droid. Hk-50 is an entirely new droid who'll be scrapped before you leave P. Station, and the HK we all know and live shall return later in the game.

Becuase the Republic is racist <{POST_SNAPBACK}> if you werent already aware, the republic dont exist, and a non entity cant be racist <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not agreeing is disagreeing with the racist statement, but the republic can certainly be racist. The empire is known to be racist against women and aliens.

It would be nice if Carth came back, but I doubt it'll happen.
