Kun appeared in two comic book miniseries, set in the period 4000 before the original Star Wars. These were Tales of the Jedi: Dark Lords of the Sith and TOTJ: The Sith War, both six issue long. As Shadowfaux and others described, he later reappers in the Jedi Academy Novel Trilogy. Part of the same events from a different perspective are retold in "I, Jedi", IIRC.

While I don't like the character, did she appear anywhere else appart from the Marvel Comics? I remember her having a short story in Gamer or a similar magazine ("Dark Star of the Empire" or something like that). Anything else?

Just before the continuity police jump on you, Lucasfilm has a policy that normally lightside endings are canon. Happened with Jedi Knight & Jedi Academy. And those game are part of "canon". Yes, they have a policy for that. Sigh, I really wish I could be playing the game now. The board seems cyclical, it goes from a PC vs Xbox, then some new info pops up, then its go EU vs Movies, another bit of info and back to the beginning. Deja vu, right?

The lightsabers with battery packs were around 5000 years before A new Hope. In 4000 years before A new hope, the lightsabers went cordless.

Made up for the game, although their story refered to part of the Expanded Universe (the bit about Xim the Despot).

Think Zahn is more respected, but Anderson is loathed by many for some of his novels. Darksaber in particular, IIRC.

erm...mods... I already made an armband that let's you travel anywhere in the game. It's here or here (along with other goodies) (however you won't have Zaalbar clones and you can use it to get out of Taris - note that it can still screw up your game so save before using). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, you are the one that did the Easy Swoop Mod! Don't think I ever heard of anyone activating the Galaxy Droid on PC. It serves the same function as the warp cheat. IIRC, the Ebon Hawk looks a little different and there is also a droid next to the Swoop Bike, for upgrades (no, it doesn't work). Just do a search in Bioware forums with Galaxy Droid. Lots of cases reported.

A notice on the company's Web site outlined some of the restructuring's details, including layoffs of 31 staffers(...) in-house development will be scaled way back, because "the company will be concentrating on fewer titles" On the project front, an informed industry source said the team attached to the early stages of development on Knights of the Old Republic 3 was let go in yesterday's layoff. --------------------------- LA switched from developer to mostly publisher across the years.

Not really much. Two five issues minis set around 1000 years before (Golden Age of the Sith & Fall of the Sith EMpire), and 5 more (Tales of the Jedi, The Freedon Nadd Uprising, Dark Lords of the Sith, The Sith War & Redemption) set in a period ending around 40 years before KOTOR IIRC. The closest story post Kotor is Jedi vs Sith, and that is 1000 years before A new Hope.

They managed to make a mess of Naga Sadow in only 4 miniseries... :D EDIT: And I really love the TOTJ world.

Were there any other languages edition of KOTOR I? I know of a spanish one and I think one in german, for the PC. If there was a russian version of KOTOR; I guess TSL in russian is possible.

IIRC, last time we saw it, it was right in the middle of the Mandalorian invasion, so any changes could be because of reconstruction... It has to be a walled city, of course.

Expanded Universe. The official name for everything Star Wars that isn't the movies, basically. Games, books, comics, RPG, etc. It is gigantic, and difficult to approach for any new readers. Personally, I enjoyed "pockets", specific areas of it, as in specific trilogies or stories. Really don't care for the "what was Luke doing 30 years after "A New Hope".

On that we can all agree. SS is insane. Concerning the Sith'ari, I think it is a plot point left by Bioware for a sequel, nothing more. Prophecy are normally vague, and its interpretation tricky. Anakin and the balance of the force, for example.
