IIRC, he is refering to the Jaster Mereel story in one of the short stories anthologies, which for some years was the "origin" of Boba Fett. This was later fixed in the Open Seasons mini, to reconcile the Episode II info with the previous Fett origin, making Mereel the mentor of Jango and not Boba himself. And Dark Horse brought back part of the Marvel Comics Continuity with a couple of mentions of Fenn Shysa and all that, but the exact way it played it is unknown. Boba Fett story is a big headache. And the worst part is that I haven't read Star Wars novels for a long time, and I still know this...

Concerning Korriban, probably our character will find out that this new threat is somehow linked to whatever happened to Revan, so we will try to find out what happened to him. Remember that we don't know exactly how Revan & Malak became Dark Lords of the Sith, we were shown some steps into the dark side, but not how they came into contact with the Sith rules. Revan proably went to Korriban to find out that.

And besides, Obsidian is only following up on the continuity from Knights of the Old Republic I, so within that context, the Valley is perfectly fine. Bioware did a lot of name dropping from the Expanded Universe, in particular the TOTJ area. Which as a TOTJ reader, I thoutgh was a nice touch.

And there isn't a sarcophagus in the Korriban tomb because of that. More like a memorial. Probably by Sith rebels that defy Ludo Kressh's rewritting of history after his death. If you check Bioware's forums, that particular point has really been discussed a lot.

And there is a story concerning Kyle Katarn post Jedi Academy in the next issue of Star Wars Tales. And probably, if the two novels set in the TOTJ/KOTOR era are confirmed, they will include some reference.

I am expecting/wanting it to be as good as KOTOR, with some improvements, but not much else.

IIRC, if you are male, he nevers appears again. But if you are female & completed the romance quest, he appears after you defeat Malak, and you get to kill him.

playing darkside was excruciating for me, call me a wimp but killing freyrr really upset me! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Jolee wasn't really happy about that, either. But making Zaalbar kill Mission, that was wicked.

Well, consider Dxun is in KOTOR 2, I think that name is going to pop out a lot.

Playing ligthside the first time in Kotor I missed all the fun that is mind domination. But I know I will end up playing LS the first time anyway.

Funny how the Valley was in pretty good shape in JA after 4000 years. Not great shape, but no blast holes in walls. OF course this isn't the Valley so it doesn't matter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah, like Exar Kun and the Sith temples on Yavin 4, the Disciples of Marka Ragnos were busy restoring it to its previous glory. And the backdoor was a joke.

Just consider it the backdoor entrance to the Valley...

Quick question, as I am curious. I own the PC version, so could anyone describe in detail how the Valley changed from X-Box to PC? Because from the screenshots I saw, it didn't seem to be much difference.
