Bloodlines is making me Angry

I wish. You have to fight at least one of them, maybe both, depending on ending. -
Bloodlines is making me Angry

More or less yeah. EDIT: This is in response to Atriedes post. The problem isn't that the melee weapons aren't capable of killing the last two bosses, but that you will have to switch on Godmode to do it successfully, because otherwise, dead. -
I'm a little disappointed I didn't get more mileage out of my faux-sexist comment. Not even one or holier than thou poster getting caught in a sarchasm.

When you need them to beef up firearms skills like mad in the end game it does. Do you know how impossible it is to win that game with a pure melee character? -
That's a shame. I remember some pretty good times in AvP2 Team Deathmatches.

If I were going to be a counsellor, I'd go whole hog and grab an MFT. Kissing the asses of teachers is one of the things I've always been best at, only reason I didn't pass Highschool is because I spent too many days out playing rather than sitting in class doing nothing. I'd pick up my assignments when I was there, hand them in, rinse and repeat. Things went even more south than they already were my Junior year when my mom had a stroke, and I stayed home to help take care of her. I went back to school shortly before she died, in an independent studies program, was set to have a diploma in my hands by now, but my teacher lied to me and told me she could do things she knew she wasn't allowed (namely keep me in the program for a month or two after I turned eighteen). Shame too, because my GPA in there would have been a perfect 4.0. I ended up taking the GED so they'd allow me in the JC up here.

(w00t) KGens is the emulator I use. That's funny as hell. Thank's for the tip about the Sega Smash Pack. I'll go look for it and buy it. I'd rather have it for a more stable configuration anyway. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Keep in mind there's two of them, the second one is the one with Shining Force in it. I was more of a Shining Force 2 person myself.

I just started another game, and having not played as a Gangrel, Brujah, or Ventrue yet, I chose a Gangrel because they are more suited to brawling (claws!). I built him to be a rather sullen fellow, more suited to hunting in alleyways for lone humans than barhopping and schmoozing with the ladeez. I planned on lowering his Humanity all the way by the end of the game, and just playing him as a badass in general, using Intimidation for any situations that needed words. Then I realized that if I don't invest in Persuasion I'll miss out on a lot of XP and monies just in Santa Monica Even worse, having fought all the thugs at the Meth Lab with my bare fists, I was running low on blood when I came to the realization that there are no humans that walk down alleys in Santa Monica (are there?). If I was still playing my Nossie this wouldn't be a problem, I'd just hit the sewers and look for rats, but my Gangrel seems to be above such things. Also, and this is just a pet peeve, considering that Gangrels are supposed to walk on all fours (not because they have to, but because they can) it's frustrating that the only way to do so is to crouch, which is just a little bit faster method of locomotion than walking. I'm really liking the beginning game with high levels of intimidation though, the wimpy guy in the suit who usually tells you to bugger off outside Mercurio's apartment was all but cowering in front of me, and I managed to mug him for his watch. I can't wait to see what having no Humanity does.

These are all good suggestions and this is why I posted here. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing now. Up until recently I was thinking I was gonna be a minister, but not so much now. I am thinking possibly law. I like arguing well enough, and people say I'm pretty sharp (even though I basically dropped out of highschool). It is not like I am trying to escape, so much as I feel I'm in a rut and would like to get out, hopefully sooner rather than later. Ugh. If I wanted to get out of this hell hole and into another, I'd go ahead and get my MCSE, etc. and ring up Ender. Stay in California, New York is just annoying. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is bad advice. It doesn't give any information actually of use, besides telling me you like California (so do I to be frank, but I need a change), and you don't like NY.

My highschool track record is too awful to do that. I need the time in the cheap JC to get my GPA up so a 4 year uni will even take a first glance at me.

I see the counsellor this Thursday, now that I look back on that, I probably should have been more clear, but I thought most people here knew I was eighteen.
-
I'll probably finish up at least my first two years of college before I do leave, as I'll need monies to do this, but I just want to get out.
-
Reason I was thinking NY specifically is because I know people there that I could possibly room with for a little bit while I got on my feet. Last time I checked, a plane was a negligible amount more than Greyhound to get cross country (I think it totalled $50, and it was about six days shorter travel time). All my worldly possessions are a computer, a couple pieces of art I would not be willing to part with, clothes, and books....lots and lots of books. Damn books. Most the rest I could part with, or actually belongs to my parents even though I'm using it.

That's nice darling, now you go make me a sammich while the men talk about important things.

I'm rather fond of my Gyrados. I think it's hilarious that just throwing him into battle is enough to take down the attack of all but the bravest Pokemon.
-
Nah, I started out with SNES9x and moved on when I wanted more out of our relationship.
-
US. I am in Northern California now, I am thinking of maybe moving to NY or some other far off place. It shouldn't involve anything more complicated than getting a new Driver's License though.
-
ZSNES is better, but the interface in SNES9x is simple for n00bs.

Lately I have been thinking about maybe packing up my things and moving cross country and I was wondering if I could solicit some advice of the older and wiser members here. How much money would I need to make the move? How would I go about securing lodgings/work once I am there. How do you transport all your worldly possessions cross country cheaply and effectively. Basically I am just fed up with this small town, most if not all the of the people knowing me when they see me, how far apart things are and having to have your own car if you want to get anywhere. I'll probably finish up at least my first two years of college before I do leave, as I'll need monies to do this, but I just want to get out.

Don't be mean you guys, Jodo had a job, in an office. Someday he might be your boss.

Ironically, Shining Force is one of the only games they might care about people pirating because aside from the GBA re-release, they bundled it with some five or so odd other Genesis games in the Sega Smash Pack for the PC, which in a hilarious turn of events uses an emulator (KGens IIRC) to make them work on the PC. Turnabout is fair play I guess (devs stealing pirates code). Yes because everyone knows that developers make so much money from the resale market. Oh wait, they don't make any money from it. At all. In fact depending on the EULA resales are borderline legal in the first place. EDIT: Also Googling SNES9x would probably get Craigboy more pertinent/concise results.

I was going to make a sarcastic remark asking you what that was supposed to mean, only with more swearing and racial slurs, but luckily I previewed it, because the board filter has a surprisingly small number of those filtered out.

I would have but if I explained why I couldn't help you it would've been against the forum guidelines. Harassment: We ask that the users of this board treat one another with respect, even when opinions differ. Personal attacks that are intended to cause unwanted attention, embarrassment, or harm will not be tolerated. In addition, Obsidian does not tolerate disrespectful and/or slanderous posts about its competitors, developers and publishers. Such posts will be subject to editing or deleting, with its posters censured or banned. Based on past moderator actions, I am guessing that this applies to explaining in detail a member's mental failings to them.

HELPFUL ADVICE!!! 1. Get paper shredder, gasoline, zippo lighter, and can of salt. 2. Get game disc. 3. Put game disc through shredder 4. Apply gasoline liberally and light. 5. Mix salt with the ashes that it may stay in the abyss where it belongs.
