  1. Thanks but it's like chinese to me. I know i got 4GB of RAM, Windows 7... But when it comes to the processor or the video... Google is your friend. It's not hard to figure out if you put in ten minutes of your time. Run dxdiag to discover what your graphics card is. Check systemrequirementslab.com - they may have POE on there, in which case they'd diagnose your computer and tell you what exactly is lacking or not. Thanks. Consider you were talking to an old man it should give you an idea on how i'm an ignorant when it comes to technology.

  3. Dunno why my message above have a tiny size... :-/
  4. Does the game works wit' a Nvidia GeForce 310 512MB ? What else do you have to know ? I don't wanna have problems during the installation or during the game... I always have problems with PC games... I'm more a consol player in general.
  5. Hi everyone. I wanted to know the requierments of my PC to run Pillars of Eternity with nice graphics and all (shadows, clean sound and stuff). Could you redirect me to a page where everything is detailed ? Oh and sorry if the question have already been asked or if i'm in the wrong place to ask it, i just gotta know quick in order to buy it and play immediately (can't wait) One more question fellows : is there an option to install the game in french ? I can't say i've many troubles reading in English but errrr i prefer read in french that's much more comfortable to me. Have a nice game btw. I'm sure you'll have...
  6. Yes! At least 1, as the Kickstarter backers can preorder it. That's cool ! Thanks for the answer have a nice day
  7. Hi ! Juste here to say the art is really really beautiful. Can't wait ! And i have a question (maybe already answered) : will there be add-on ? Like shivering island in Oblivion or ToB in BG2 ? And sorry for my English, i'm not sure of the : "will there be" but i guess you understood me
  8. Yes ! Create your own spells could be really interesting. But anyway, evolutive spells are cool. Talking about this, AndreaColombo developped well the idea by quoting some examples (is it right to say that in English ?). For those who played Baldur's Gate 2, there's a spell "Melf's minute meteors" that create tiny fireballs that you can throw. These meteors are heavy for a weak wizard, and each time you level up, you create more fireballs when you do the spell. When you're a higher level, if you don't have enough strength, you cannot move anymore. So you summon some skeletons and attack them in order to empty your fireballs so you can move Boring... So if there is evolutive spells, make sure we won't say : "i'm too powerful, this is annoying !!!" And maybe i'm repeating myself but a fireball that blows up near your pals must hurt them.
  9. I'd say it sounds like a game designer trying to appeal to filthy casuals by making the game a cake-walk. IF that is the case, it should be an option for the super easy settings and not forced on everyone. I agree totally. But allow the player to increase the size of the fireball effect is a good idea. Same thing for spells duration. Or maybe the friendly fire could be disable only for the last fireball you gain, late in the game, like a sort of ultimate spell. Is it a bad idea ? Cuz' really, i don't think fans of BG IWD NWN or whatever will appreciate to have NO friendly fire. As the automatic life regen... Which is a Call Of Duty thing.
  10. Last update was quite long time ago, and it seems now you are nearly at the end of your adventure. I mean, most of the ennemies are finished, maps, spells, interface, quests... and so on. So let me tell you what i think of what you've shown us. The ruins are nice, remind me lord of the ring a little bit. What are the circles on the ground ? Some kind of magic, or religious rituals ? Or is it just art from the builders ? The divinities are charismatics and the design is very mature, great inspiration. Party formations ! Well i guess you were excited to test it. Lucky you !!! The blue-female-ghost-bitch* is simple but effective (looks like to cause some status effect and heavy soul damages, correct me if i'm wrong). (*i do not know if she was a harlot in its previous life but many of them have a death "particularly tragic or in traumatic circumstances")
  11. In the gameplay trailer at 1:03, the explosion litteraly disintegrates the mummies/living deads. I just wanted to notice that i feel like it looks really bad. Lots of people said that the animations were not very good, but i don't say that, i think these types of graphics will still be nice in 2100. I just wanted to say that monsters disappearing AT THE MOMENT the fireball hits the target, it sucks. See by yourself and reply your impressions. (Sorry for my English)
  12. That looked awesome to me ! F**k the ps4, Xboxone and all that s**t. Damn, i wanna preorder the collector game version and the artbook. How can i do it ? And also, what kind of PC do i need ? EDIT : i've seen the mention "saga", are you gonna make a trilogy or something ?
  13. Sorry but this is horrible. I really can't describe it with other words, i'm so glad you aren't a graphist in Obsidian team.
  14. Great work dude, reeeeally nice. The idea of the rock is cool but your rock sucks. Sorry to say that. Even Character models hunch over at idle. This is incorrect. The trolls are not on the Skuldr rig. The trolls are sharing a rig and animations with other creatures but still need to have their pass for tweaking and creating new anims. Pictures of the game >>>>>>>>> F************ing awesome !!! But the trolls look like Radagast friends, like spriggans in Elder Scrolls... I hope they will have specifics animations.
  15. lol "different breastplate logos" Like can we have a "gotta catch 'em all" mode Seriously, talking about big teams of developpement, it must be really hard to communicate. At the opposite, in the small teams, it must be really hard to do the work. I had a project with a friend, on RPG maker. Well two buddies can have much ideas and communicate them to each other very easily that's for sure. But when it's time to work... All of this to say : you got to find a proper balance. I'm pretty sure that Obsidian found it. Not too much people in order to communicate, and not too less in order to do the job. Lephys you were talking about the tool and the contents, the best example to me rather than a voice actor is Call Of Duty
  16. Hello again ! Another little question i had by looking at Cadegund. In your wiki it is said that "Her breastplate bears the image of flaming bomb, a symbol associated with Magran, a goddess of war and fire [...]". So i thought : When you create a priest, is there an option that can allows you to choose his worshiping god ? And if so, does it grants you some different spells than the others priests, or abilities, or passive bonuses, or whatever ? Post Scriptum : it looks like i'm already addicted to your game and news. EDIT : My question works as well for monks, paladin, rangers and druids.
  17. Yes, spells have casting times. They will likely wind up with three different casting lengths: immediate (what it sounds like), short (~3 seconds), and long (~6 seconds). Spells don't inherently scale, but we may offer Talents that scale spells (Talents are one of the last RPG elements will be implementing and the most flexible until then). There are a lot of unique weapons and the player can add enchantments. Item enchantments do not have durability. Yes, creatures will have unique abilities. Wizards can use any weapon they want, but they gain bonuses when using wands, sceptres, and rods. Their default accuracy with melee weapons is not good. Thanks for this quick answer. "the player can add enchantments" this is really interesting. To be honest, when i see games in developpement which tends to recreate and modernise past glories, i'm generally very critic and i look for some faults, even little things. But errr, i don't find any here. Just to say you are awesome you guys to keep fans of RPGs informed and to do such a good job.
  18. Wonderful work til here ! I recently discovered this project while searching a new RPG to play 'cause i can't play Baldur's Gate 2 anymore, i've finished it too many times, you are a hope for people like me. Just wanted to ask a few questions about combats mechanics (maybe it's not the right place, if so i'm sorry) : - Do spells have an incantation time ? - Do spells evolve during the game or is it differents spells (an example : "shield lvl1", "shield lvl2", etc... or "minor shield", "major shield") ? - Are there unique weapons or do the enchantements are exclusively made by the player ? - Talking about enchantements, have they some durability ? And if so, do they disappear at the end of the durability or can they be "repaired" ? - Have creatures some kind of unique abilities (like absorbing your intellect, your strenght, your levels, turning you into stone, disappear, make you feel great fears, and so on) ? - Does a wizard can use a big mace, or are they restrictions for each classes ? - Am i not too boring with all these questions ? Anyway, it seems i'm gonna buy it immediatly after its release. Continue to keep the good old games alive ! PS : sorry for my poor English, please tell me if something isn't clear, i'll manage to explain it a better way.
