foregin films are only subtitled here, but I have no problem with or without them.. unless people are mumbling.. The reason I really wanted to see the film was that the story behind it always intrigued me! This was, as you say, one of the only times we were truely close to nuclear annihilation.. And I can't really explain why I feel so incredible bored when watching the movie - I just get really restless and feel the need to do something else.. the acting is fine, the suspense building up is nicely done (at least for what parts of it I saw).. it's almost like a psychological trigger that makes me tired when seeing it.. ^_^

I've tried to watch that movie several times - but I always fall asleep or end up doing something else! not that the story is boring, it just fails to involve me..

^ yeah that was my idea .. I just didn't present it that well it seems.. but I was actually thinking less of a shooter and more of an adventure/rpg - the importance of getting a quiet start is feeling the difference, if you start out with a destroyed world you won't feel the emotional impact of it's destruction. Kinda like how you felt really lost in Homeworld, when you returned to a burning planet. And I would like an apacolypse game that has more focus on story than combat - but not ruling it out entirely. Stealth and savy should be the best option though.. since it would be more realistic for a normal guy to try and avoid any direct danger!

well it was implemented in your language - your culture and history to hate the French .. the best way to defeat an enemy is if you truely hate 'it' - and when some childrens rhimes and jokes (etc) are constructed to ridicule and create indifference about the French.. well then you have an entire system constructed to allowing your hatred/anamosity to flick on at the slightest effort..

Just saw Lucky Number Slevin.. really impressive! unfortunately it's not as original as I would've liked it to have been - but even if it borrows some of it's artistic elements - it's still a damn good film!

Denmark had Sweden as a Vassal state for many years as well ..
