  1. I didn't hate Kreia either, I just thought the whole reasoning for the "death of the force" thing was a little cheesy

I dunno, I guess I would just rather see people compete in sports rather then trying to get a call and kind of doing the opposite. I guess theres a thin line between being a gamer and being a "flopper"
  3. I enjoyed AR, Dues Ex not so much

^^that was funny. I really sat down and watched my first World Cup match for the frist time in a while. Its good to know that all the fake falling down and relentless whining isn't reserved for European basketball. I was wondering during the match if a player fake falls down, you know like the Italians seem to be very good at, but lets say the ref actually has a clue, is there a penalty or something they can give to the guy who fakes it? Kind of like in basketball, if someone is pretents to fall down after contact with another player, they'll call a foul on him sometimes.
  5. Almost anyone on the planet craving any type of indie-credibility has heard of bright eyes, they're pretty much one of those "untouchable" bands. That still doesn't stop me from calling their fans crybabies and folky goths. Is not that the music isn't heartfelt and truthful its just that its popularity outshines its sensibilities as something that can be regularly related to. Kind of Drama Queen music. Sonic Youth -- Incinerate
  6. I'm playing Munchkin a card game by Steve Jackson Games.
  7. You mean how it was very frightening? Yea, I remember. Fishsticks -- Twang Twang Shock-A-Boom.
  8. Something from the David Byrne album My Life in the Bush of Ghost that Brian Eno produced. I've only been a moderate Talking Heads fan over the years but I find myself listening to this album quite a bit. Its hard to believe this came out in '81
  9. Elliott Smith -- The Biggest Lie
  10. Yea, in a way you give them more streetcred with your rebellious lifestyle. Wilco -- Heavy Metal Drummer
  11. Sometimes I wonder who these guy have to play off of if everyone has a bad haircut, girl's pants and studded belt, on the otherhand I finally know what its like to go to a show and be the toughest guy there. I used to go to alot of Pantera-type shows and there was always this giant around and he would just do what ever he wanted, and while I'm not a giant I'm still pretty sure I could have owned at this show. I should have gone around and slapped drinks out of guy's hands and asked, "Baby want to cry?" every 20 mins or so. Cool, cool. So you got any of those free/illegal downloads that your alway distributing without the band's permission?
  12. I saw Pinback on friday, not the best show, the sound was bad and the hipsters thick. Time to reevaluate the band, until then getting mellow. Iron and Wine -- Faded From the Winter
  13. I figure that people never see and kill the biggest sharks, and the same is probaly true for sharks. Ya the sharks know that they're probaly bigger people out there, but they never see them, mostly because people that fat never make the effort to darg themselves to the beach. Also it says in your articles there that sharks don't sleep, that's supercreepy.
  14. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060525/ap_on_...mmerhead_record At first I was kind of stoked, as someone who has an inane fear of being predestined to be eaten by a shark, I figured one less out there that could do the job. Then I was thinking great, a couple of million of years of evolution perfected so some retard can have his name in a book. I hope now that among sharks they some book where they're like fattest human ever eaten by a shark 417lbs. or something.
  15. I never heard of it but I'll check it out, you know non-kanadienese?
  16. May the ones be cold
  17. Its not the armless ones you need to worry about, its the ones with cellphones
  18. Pixies -- I've Been Tired I tell a tale of a girl, but I call her a woman She's a little bit older than me Strong legs, strong face, voice like milk, breasts like a cluster of grapes I can't escape the ways she raise me She'll make you feel like Solomon be one of your babies even if you had no one None of the Pixies songs about incest suffer in quality just because they're alot of them.
  19. NOFX -- The Bath of Least Resistance
  20. Seeing the Oiler's run has made me dust off my copy of NHL 2006. The franchise mode can be pretty frustrating, the owner at the begining of the year says he wants the #1 pick in the draft. I of course ignore him and win the stanley cup. At the beginning of the next year he's like last year was a frustrating year, but I don't think its all your fault, this years goal is to get the #1 pick.
  21. The Twilight Singers? Aren't those the trapeze artist who smash all the concrete blocks with their genitals? Modest Mouse -- Race Car Grin You Ain't No Landmark
