I think abortion's sad. Both for the parents that are in a situation where they feel they shouldn't have the child and for the lost potential of the child and the parents. Even for kids that aren't healthy or mentally developed, I think they realise that they're different but their family's (become?) big hearted enough to love them nonetheless. If anything, that's what they'll take to them to the grave, if they meet an early end. I don't know if I'm a big enough man to handle such questions if such a situation arose for my kid. Where's the cutoff point for terminating pregnancies? Is there a cutoff point? I hope we'll never need to make that call. One of the best parts of Drawn Together's when Captain Hero tells his parents when they make up that "Even if you aborted me I'm still your son".

I've imported my uber character from HotU into NWN1's OC but at the end of the prologue they strip me of all my XP. I could return the lost XP via console commands but it'd involve a lot of leveling up which is tedious. Is there a way to work around the XP stripping?

I think Starcraft's story world building back in its day was very creative. I won't go so far as to say they defined the RTS engine staple but they've certainly helped refine it. That's pretty impressive by my easy standards.

The loot in SoU is scaled up too, while still being random. I picked up Tenser's Longsword which is +3, 1d6 fire and gives the user Cleave. Right now I'm using Valiantheart's longbow and switching to Tenser's Sword and a small shield +2 for combat. 5% arcane failure isn't too bad but it's noticeable when it the spell fizzles.

Been there, do ne that too many times. Time for a change.

So far it's very satisfying. The loot's good and the combat's great fun. Fireballing, calling lightning and ice storms on mobs of enemies is superb entertainment! There are a few areas in the game where they scale up. High Forest is one of them - I encountered about half a dozen trols and 4 bears in the outdoor fights. That's one of the harder ones just because they regen and I don't have the NPCs or summons to get the damage in. Great fun playing a spellslinger.

Could I make a Malkavian (looks, talks and ppl react to you as one) and just change a Discipline? What would happen in the tutorial where you need to use each of your Disciplines?

I think I'll start soloing SoU with a hyper druid/sorc and see how it goes. Generally I expect to see the same problems as you have. Should be good. I anticipate frequent resting to restock on firepower.

I don't agree with that in principle. It skews the results by suggesting that the third party is less popular than it is, affecting its perceived viability etc.
