The Fallouts weren't IE. That's all that I can think of too.

It's a great chance for "skint" clubs like Arsenal, MU and Liverpool to sign good players on the "cheap", at least on loan.

The Italian teams may sell but I think they'll just loan a lot of their players out, to return when they're back up. I'm not sure if they'll be able to participate in the CL. Money'll be tight.

2006 FIFA World Cup
Yes, he needs thicker skin. This happens all the time in football and it may have been what let Zidane last that long. Professional football's not always a nice place to be because of scums like Materazzi that try to wind opponents up. "Winding them up", whether it's niggling fouls or abusive language is hardly new to the game. It's actually the norm than the exception. Does it suddenly make Zidane a saint or completely absolve him of his sins? Only one Man can do that and he was last spotted a few thousand years ago.

Warcry at Obsidian Part 1: Toolset
The former Black Isle Studios employees who work for Obs. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Obsidian's much bigger than just BIS now. The ex BIS employees could even be the minority % of the company now.

Torrent help
I think there's nobody seeding, especially if its an old torrent. The system depends on people sharing at the same time you're on, so if nobody's sharing you're stuck.

2006 FIFA World Cup
I bet Materazzi would have uppercut Zidane if he was prepared. Seriously, such a low headbut's just asking for that. He must learned a fair bit when he was at Merseyside and those tattoos. Those random geometric and astral symbols have to be magic.

Don't think it'd work. England has been going on forever about Maradona's handball but nobody cares.

2006 FIFA World Cup
I think Materazzi would have owned Zidane if he was serious. Did you check out his tatoos?

I like the touch where countries get to wear stars for each world cup that they've won.

I think numerology would be more convincing once they've progressed beyond simple addition. If they busted out the multiplication, exponentials, pi's and roots things would get much more interesting.

2006 FIFA World Cup
As far as conspiracies go there was one where the sum of the years which countries won the world cup (say Urugay's twice) came up wtih a similar number. That one had a fair go and implied Brazil would win this year but we all know that didn't work out.

2006 FIFA World Cup
Lol. I think it's fitting that Grosso won the tournament with the final kick of the World Cup. The guy's a legend, nice guy too working his way up from Serie B and he'll be playing with Inter next season. As for Zidane, that was crazy. I think the picture of him walking away towards the dressing rooms with his back to the World Cup said it all.

Lol @ Schweinsteiger's shots. If only football was so easy. Pauletta's looked isolated up front for the whole tournament.

2006 FIFA World Cup
I would have picked Zabrotta for RB (perhaps obvious choice) but I think Trabelsi ran the Tunisian team. Plus love him or hate him, there is no denying Cristiano Ronaldo is a fabulous player.

2006 FIFA World Cup
Ok, here's my World Cup XI from what I've seen so far. I'll go 4-3-3 GK: Lehman - Buffon could be here but Lehman's got more chances to show what he can do. Saved a few penalties too. RB: Trabelsi - from Tunisia. CB: Cannavaro - 'nuff said CB: Marquez - tough as nails and great decision making and leadership LB: Grosso - could be Sorin but Grosso's solid in the back and supports well plus he comes up with important goals (or penalties). CM: Riquelme - classy creative attacker DCM: Pirlo - deep playmaker and setpiece taker CM: Zidane - still as classy as ever but losing pace RF: Kaka - one of the few Brazilian players that sparkled Striker: Klose - classic goalpoacher that works hard LF: Torres - pace, skill and strength

Sports at Obsidian
So with NWN2 crunch and the World Cup do you guys have pickup games of basketball or street soccer in the carpark to have fun? Does anyone like sports in general? As Cantona said, there's honour on the streets and divers are sent to the pits. Personally I think it's just painful to dive on the pavement.

New D&D experiences
Ok, I got a great idea! Since I love casting I'll go druid/sorc. The high level destructive power should be epic! Plus I can have my charmed grizly bears and elder elementals around. Be very afraid.
