I thought the Thief 3 storyline with the witch was very well presented. Especially reading about the witch hunter who was after her. It's one of the few times ever I remember books and notes in a game done well, and it's not even an RPG. I got to the final boss fight in one of my playthroughs and was killed. I just went, well ok, that's a result. I lost. So I never beat the game.

Thief 3 is underrated. Sure the maps are a bit smaller but. The Shalebridge Cradle. nuff said.

I'm inclined to agree... I'm getting a bit of a Ghost in the Shell remake vibe from it. Regardless, if Arrival (or the rest of his films for that matter) is any indication, Villeneuve does seem the type to rein the action in in favour of ideas, so I wouldn't be too worried just yet. That could be just one action set piece near the end. You know, like in the original. I knew instantly that Ghost was going to be mediocre action, not sure about this one. The Alien remake, What is it Alien 8, 9, if we count all the crossovers, looks pretty bland though. He's getting up there, Scott, maybe he's just past it. Happens to everyone.

Went to see the new Guardians. It's nice to see Kurt Russel still at it, other than that, meh. Better than all the other Marvel stuff, but that's not really saying that much. No regrets, pretty solid for what it is.

All all the enemies black swirly things and what are the mudcrabs from Half Life called... Sounds a bit one note.

The Fallout basebuilding does nothing though. It's all cosmetic, slapped on in response to the success of Skyrim mods and Minecraft. The settlement defence missions are totally uninteresting. The main story is broken, specifically it's faction alliances that should make certain things impossible but do not. They have made no attempt to fix it. Probably realising that it would take too long.

The last Bioshock wasn't that good. I mean I could play a decent System Shock clone, if that's what it is. I'll wait for more real world opinions

The Displayport listing is incorrect, it's DVI dual link. Bastards. Almost ordered. Read somewhere that having both Radeon and Nvidia will cause problems with physx not to mention the usual driver mismatch that can happen if you don't remove drivers before swapping cards around.

I don't care about their shenanigans one way or the other, is the game good - that's what matters. Bethesda still has a decent track record. Pray might be good, I'll make up my mind in a couple of weeks I guess.

Mine just has the one. HDMIx3 and DVI. Board has DVI , HDMI and VGA. What other card though. How does that work. When do you get signal out of a graphics card, I assume it can't be any old card. I have a Radeon somethingorother in a box with a DisplayPort on it. Maybe a cheap physx card. Is that still a thing. Another 1070 would be too cramped for airflow not to mention expensive. Displayport 1.2 runs 4k 60hrz as well I should think, it's what my monitor has, on a splitter it's probably not cost effective to boost the signal to 60 hrz on the output as well. How about a littlebrother SLI card. What's the cheapest I can get away with. That way I would be upgrading as well. In principle anyway.
