  1. I think I got one an accidentially sold it, so now my drop rate is worse. Is that how it does.
  2. Please tell me it was at least the engine ported version.
  3. There is a new Unreal tournament, it's even free. Been in alpha forever though. https://www.epicgames.com/unrealtournament/#splash I never even tried it because my main sparing partner is on an ancient Mac that can't run anything new.
  4. That guy has the flamberge, been looking for that forever.
  5. One month to Sekiro https://imgur.com/gallery/JdnBBwv
  6. I am at my 34th attempt at Darkeater Midir on new game 5. Running out of embers. Going to start newgame 6 with a mage build just so I can AOE mist that mf. Of course when I do, he's going to get another health and damage boost.
  7. My comic store is closing. Well, everyone from my generation's comic store in Copenhagen is closing. Lot of childhood memories. Sigh. I've made friends I still have today 20 years ago in that store.
  8. Would have been better if STEAM offered incentives for units sold and not profits though. This forces prices up, not down, because developers want to maximize their chances of reaching the bonus tiers. If microtransaction malarkey counts towards the tiers, it's going to mean more of that as well.
  9. https://imgur.com/gallery/LemTEav I've got a Christopher Walken and Willem Dafoe block as well.
  10. I think you have max two companions at a time you can pick from those you have recruited, Mass Effect style.
  11. https://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/microsoft-ceo-project-xcloud-netflix-for-games/ Well, the hardware, consoles that is, doesn't generate much revenue, sometimes they are even sold with a loss. Imagine you are Sony or Microsoft and you could have the same control over your marketplace and have no piracy and so on, and not be limited to selling to people who have bought your hardware. That's what gaming streaming services offer. It's a way to create a tectonic shift in the way people access games. Think of all the people who would never buy their hardware for any reason. There is currently no way for Sony or Microsoft to get their business with the titles offered exclusively on consoles. A streaming service just pushes frames to the end user, so there is really no need for a PC port. I think eventually, in like 10-20 years or so, this development will kill off consoles. They are extra hardware no one needs.
  12. They are spending way too much time on the bizarre ruleset of the criminal underworld, whoever they are at the hotel where everything costs one gold coin, and it's not even remotely interesting. Jhon Wick 1 was just a revenge film with really decent stunt work. That's what made it good.
  13. It grates me no end that Walsingham is not here for me to scream 'I told you so' at.
  14. Well, I seem to remember an idea for Obsidian to create a storefront a while back, which nobody liked. Now with the blowback from Metro Exodus leaving STEAM and everything. The bad split offered by STEAM is getting passed to the customers because leaving is too much of a risk. As much as I like the convenience of STEAM, it is not without cost.
  15. Is it true that there is no offline mode for EPIC. Because, yeah. That s a deal breaker for me.
  16. The timing is bad, the exclusive is bad. I would need convincing, and there is no discount for me because I live in Europe. That said, what's the point in boycotting, just spend your money on something else. Same difference.
  17. Kinda silly premise for a boycott isn't it though. I mean, if signing up to EPIC is such a hassle that it's doing to keep your from playing the game, congratulations, you are already boycotting the game. You don't need to make a big fuss about it.
  18. I just checked Metro Exodus on Epic store. It's 60 Euro, same as it was on STEAM, so much for passing any savings onto the customer.
  19. September. That's like 20 years from now. (no it's not)
  20. It's STEAM's fault really, they are insisting on maintaining their monopoly pricing and driving developers away. So far EPIC store doesn't sound that consumer friendly. The fracturing is going to make the storefronts themselves less relevant I think. You will be browsing your game purchases through third party price comparison sites that automatically keeps track of specials and sales, maybe you have all your games listed in a third party launcher. It's probably not impossible to write software that will log you into a platform and launch the game. Another app to launch another app to finally launch your game.
  21. OLED has burn-in issues anyway. They are stating it up front to avoid warranty issues and basically just ask people 'not to display things that damage the screen' i mean WTF. That's anything that has bright colors and is static on the screen. Like a hud segment in a game or a news ticker.
  22. Got a cheaper Lenovo. Discovered they stuck 16 gb in it even though I only paid for 8, not complaining. ' It came with Macafee. luls, how is that still at thing.
  23. I just read up on it a bit and it seems like it amounts to less than 5%, so. Yeah. possibly still worth it getting an older CPU because of the price difference.
  24. What should you buy to avoid the spectre CPU vulnerability and big impact patches.
