First time all of those I bubble voted for won. Alas, Mickey and Minnie Mouse didn't win either of the family court judge openings. Bugs Bunny lost the State senate race. Yosemite Sam lost the race for state judge. And Daffy Duck didn't make it to State Assembly. But my bubble votes won!!!

Nope... While the issue of medicine, it's costs, and paying for it can be quite complex, put very simply: There's 'medicaid', 'medicare', charities, your bank account (if you have one), hospital charities, private and community medical funds, your frugal/astute brain (if you have one), etc. to cover/avoid the costs. Just about no one is ever denied emergency medical care, and that was true prior to the government getting involved decades ago as well.

*highfive*! No one believed us. Most even said it was impossible. I wasn't brave enough to make that call, and I consider that a testament to just how powerful propaganda is. I had no idea who would win and honestly thought Clinton would. Even if my gut said the Trump support is larger than they think, it's very hard to make that call when you see limited evidence of it according to the mainstream media. Likewise I feel a lot of Trump supporters were "shamed" and thus afraid to announce their existence. People can still deny it to this day, but the fact of the matter is that the media was 100% propaganda this election season. Today it's clear that the only people the establishment has been fooling this whole time has been themselves. I do hope you two placed bets on this though. Indeed. On the bolded: If one actually is observant in life, objective, and truly learns from their experiences, wisdom and that bravery will come to you. Alas that most are not observant, objective, nor truly learn from their experiences.

I'm making the call before the networks that don't want to. Trump won. If you look close at the raw data these projections are being made by, it's over.

Too early to tell for sure yet, but with more than one third of the precincts reporting in in both Wisconsin and Michigan, Trump is in the lead. Him winning those states would be huge. They've both been voting blue since '84.

I'm bedwetting but HRC got Virginia. She would have been in big trouble if she lost there. My favorite part is how the MSM has called Virginia for Clinton, yet still hasn't called Florida for Trump. When if you look at the reported in numbers, Trump still has a way better chance of winning VA than Clinton does of winning FL.

Worry not, you'll have plenty of opposition. Most of the Republicans may as well be Democrats, and are bought and paid for by the same people who pull the strings of Clinton, Obama, and Bush.

I'm bedwetting but HRC got Virginia. Just an FYI. I'm extremely busy these days and have very little free time. I expect to start having more time come the end of the month, and when winter gets underway I'll likely be posting regularly again. Just saying this as I may not have much time for awhile to bask in the glory or pay homage. Eventually, I will have time for whichever though and look forward to it.

Is it my imagination or does that map lack the most critical information for the presidential race, ie how many electoral votes each state has? Otherwise it's very nice indeed. I'm no great fan of the NYTimes, however, after comparing it with the following sites: abcnews.com, nbcnews.com, foxnews.com, cnn.com, and huffingtonpost.com, I find that it's election coverage page is the best. That said, if you find vapid commies squirming amusing, the huffingtonpost.com is where it's at.

About two hours ago NYTimes was projecting more than an 80% chance of a Clinton win... This was ~5 minutes ago.... Leferd..... Whatever happens. We shall have some fun.

Been super busy. Don't have time to read stuff. Won't have time to read stuff for awhile yet. (I'm sure some here celebrate this). Just wanted to pop and say hi to Leferd and that I haven't forgotten our wager. I fully intend to pay up or live it up.

Great band.... Something about Mazzy Star makes them the perfect band for the soundtrack of the mid 90s imo. The sound just captures the era, or at least much of what I'd say is the best of it....

If they're minors the names are rarely released, unless the family wants them to be. And sadly it's reported than many of the victims are minors... I'd reach out to your old friends directly. It's almost always a good time to do such a thing regardless of what's happening in the world.

Ah good to see you're going to contribute with answering questions. Here it is again. And who were you responding to (or post) in this thread if not me? Hurl isn't exactly known for purposefully bringing anything of substance to the table in any given discussion. He occasionally does, but sadly more oft than not it's by accident.

Truth be told, the vast majority of mass killings by whatever means in the west the last couple of decades are committed by Muslims and/or people whacked out on psychotropic(s) X that was given to them by some kind of state licensed quack. errrr... 'doctor'.

Hastur you are too new for anyone to take that much enjoyment in seeing you eat crow! Be nice to the newcomers, especially the ones that can write in correct English, as well as don't have obviously broken brains. We don't get too many of those that stick around. That said.... hopefully Leferd and I are old enough to entertain then....

Problem is nothing's going to happen.........at all. This election is setting a bar and I don't know if we can survive one trying to "one up" the bar they have set. We've never had a more obviously corrupt person run for President before, and we've never had as entertaining a candidate as Donald Trump before (and it's been many generations since we've had a candidate tell it like it is so much before). The next election has some potential to one up this one given that it will be one of them running (if the winner isn't offed, which I wouldn't bet too hard against no matter who wins), but it's unlikely, not only because it takes two to push that bar so high, but because unless they're assassinated I fully expect whoever wins this election, to win the next one as well. And all that said, this election really is just beginning..... weeeeeeee!
