And not just skimming a Wikipedia article or just some teenager's tumblr but actually reading any of the hundreds of thousands of works of feminist literature.

    Well their 1989 report seemed to believe torture to be an ineffective technique “inhumane physical or psychological techniques are counterproductive because they do not produce intelligence and will probably result in false answers.” And the latest report has reached the same conclusion.

    It's disappointing how fantasy games are rarely inspired by Egyptian aesthetics. I'd take an Ancient Egypt RPG over a faux-European fantasy RPG any day.

    Lol at calling the Canadian and European model "communistic". The single-payer medical system still operates according to market/comodity logic via a system of taxation; medicines and tech are still owned and sold by multi-national corporations (who also partake in the more brutal aspects of globalization); capitalist logic still determines price and value; and due to the tendency of the rate of profit to fall medicare gradually gets more expensive which encourages the government to submit to so-called "austerity measures" which means privatization will continue to creep in. That said the "Canadian/European" model is still significantly better than that of the U.S. Those who are the greatest victims of the U.S system can not. I have family in the U.S and they're certainly not capable of uprooting their entire families/lives and moving to another country.

I'm still laughing at the idea that someone who you assert does basically nothing and is one of the wealthiest people in the world is neither parasitic nor wields any power. There's also the fact that my original snipe was barely directed at the inbred bastards in the first place.

    Barely. As a general rule of thumb I'll usually limit my internet interactions to the occasional off hand remark or snipe. At the very best I might prod someone in the right direction, more likely I'll just sling some **** their way and scram. Lol "confident in my ignorance". You assert that the goddamn Queen has no power or influence and believe that despite doing nothing meaningful and rolling around in a mountain of cash she is "not parasitic".

No you're just delusional. Worth noting is that my post was tongue and cheek and directed at an entirely different type of opponent. I honestly didn’t expect someone to come in and defend ****ing “royalism” but I shouldn’t be surprised.

    Not according to the people making the demand. Pfffttt. I can't ****ing believe I'm reading this on the Pillars of Eternity boards of all places. We went ages without an adequate IE styled game. For years I said a company could make a solid profit by making cheaper classic RPGs but noooooooo they all wanted to chase the "big bux" pumping out a series of streamlined, consolized, action games in attempt to capture some mythical fantasy-COD audience. Corporations are filled with dumb****s. Any RPG fan should know this.

    The demand's already there. According to corporate logic it's just more profitable to chase after an already fulfilled market. Yup. And blind devotion to the status quo continues the deaths of innocents that could easily be prevented. Seeing I've already made my point and we are now drifting far away from it I'm bailing.
