It was the first time Id ever seen one in the wild so I called my coworkers out back to see it too. As we all huddled around it took a dislike to one dude in particular and attacked! It was hilarious watching him run down the parking lot flailing his arms in the air.

I think it needs to get to ~300+ kW to be an effective defense against anti-ship missiles, but I like the progress Im seeing. 👍

Thats interesting. I was just reading What Causes Inflation and Who Profits From It? and it seems inflation is variable due to several reasons (the Federal Reserve tries to keep it around 2%). So using you as an example, how do you negotiate a raise? Is it performed annually? Otherwise it would be impossible to predict the inflation in SA over a 5 year contract?

Just to make sure Im understanding the offer, it was a guaranteed 3% raise every year for 5 years?

I didnt check all four states, but in Michigan its the law to pay overtime after 40 hours. Basically they are rejecting the 3% raise.

Well, Im not married to the diamond shaped blast door (its sexy but it does look extra pinchy). Blast doors that slide from the left or right, or down from the ceiling would also work. Probably the most efficient and requiring the least amount of infrastructure changes would be a blast door that comes up from the floor. We wouldnt have to reinforce any walls or ceilings.

Huh? Blast door can be dangerous if you are caught flat footed, but perhaps you are a visual learner? Here we see the hero barely making it through the closing portal. One step slower and he would have been pinched in half! Oh my!
