Speaking of which, in an incredible display of n00bism, on Corellion I kept getting the message "You must complete missions first" every time I tried to pick up a quest. I erroneously though that meant that I had to complete some other step before I could accept the new quest but in reality it meant my quest log was full. I felt pretty stupid when that finally dawned on me but seriously, cant the message simply say "Quest log full"?

Ive still got around 10-12 Heroic 4's scattered about different planets to do. I spent the weekend soloing all the grayed-out ones leaving me only green difficulty ones left to do. Im not really sure why I bothered with the gray ones other than the satisfaction of getting them out of my quest log.

Whats an MC pervert? Anyway, rub some dirt on it and get back in the game.

Finally finished the SI class storyline and found it entertaining. Thanaton was much harder to kill this time and I found it refreshing that I was forced to change tactics from my ususal tank and spank. Also was the first time Ive seen a boss CC my tank and come directly after me. Guess this is where I get on the endgame treadmill.

Im really getting tired of chasing Darth Thanaton. After 2-3 near misses on Corellion I think Ive finally got him cornered, enter whats supposed to be the FINAL KAGGATH, and lo and behold, he runs away to Korriban. *rages*

You know, some of the DS vs LS choices are just so silly. I get it, Im a Sith, no mercy, kill everything. But there I was on Corellion confronted with the choice of cutting down the leader of this rodent-like race. He was defeated and begging for the life of his pack, even swearing fealty to the Empire and the choice was to kill him (DS) or let him go (LS). Choosing the LS option cost me -50 DS and -30 companion (Val, hes a cold hearted widowmaker). I stink at being evil.

D'oh. Im too set in my WoW ways. There, vendors show all wares and if you arent high enough to use it you just cant buy it until you are.

I had to give it bonus points when the guy behind the camera immediately started yelling "thats a lawsuit", then a few seconds later, "thats a second lawsuit".

To make sure Im clear....regarding Artificing, you can only buy a handfull of recipies from the vendor and are expected to learn new recipies solely by creating those recipies and reverse engineering what you just made and hoping a new recipie pops in the process?

What do you do for credits after 50? After dropping 330k credits for Speeder training (WTF!) and another ~100k on the rest of my level 50 spells, Im down to like 490k credits. I still have to gear all my companions, my ship and myself, not to mention grinding up my professions. Is the only way to gain credits after 50 to do Flashpoints over and over?

I...did not realize that. For whatever reason I never put it together that the orange stuff was just a sum of the mods. Bummer, I sold some cool looking orange stuff long ago. One looked like a Gimp mask. Anyway, I slew my nightmares, pushed through to 50 and am now working on the Voss Bonus questline.

But my point is, they have no "base" stats, only mod slots, so dont you lose out on a ton of stats? For example, my chest piece may have the following base stats: End +35, Will + 50, etc... and then three slots for mods, commendation gear doesnt have any of that.

TBH, I dont understand the commendation gear. For example, if you go over to the Starship Upgade vendor in the space station, right next to that vendor is a Starship Upgrade vendor that sells stuff for the comendations you get for completing Space missions. Under that vendor is a whole list of equipment for decking out your toon in "pilot" gear. Except this gear is like level six and has no base stats, although it does have mod slots. Ive noticed some of the gear under Dark Side vendor is like that too. Why would anyone waste commendations on gear like that? Just for the look of the gear? I feel like Im not understanding something.

What the heck does that say? I swear, the English dont speak English half the time.

Meh, Im hitting a mental wall in the game. Loitering at level 47 with no motivation to go to Voss, tired of sitting in the space station hoping to find a group for a flashpoint and have a sinking feeling that I chose crap professions (Archeology, Artifacing (sp) and Treasure Hunting).

Seems like a good deal for you, I wouldn't feel bad at all. And it's not like your colleagues are dead - you can always meet up with them (well assuming you're that close to them, anyway). Congratulations on more money. I believe Wals employed some of those colleagues so by taking a job for "the man" and making them unemployed, he feels bad. I could be wrong. Oh, and congrats Wals, a 15% annual raise is huge! Now go get your roof fixed.

The only game Im sure about getting this year is Diablo III. Im not even sure Ill buy the WoW expansion.

God how I loved building model aircraft during my early teens. At one point, every single fighter and bomber in the US inventory hung from my bedroom ceiling. I was kinda crap about painting them but got all the decals on. Tigranes, to this day I stop in random hobby shops just for a look around. Maybe you can stop by one and something will jump out at you. I Googled "hobby shops Pennsylvania" and naturally a billion resutls came up so depending on your exact location, theres probably a store close by.
