  1. @Azdeus: Is your back feeling better?
  2. Kill a commie for mommy.
  3. Yeah, but that comes from the government, not the private sector. Nobody owes you anything, job wise. Unless its changed since I got out, a person can "retire" out of the military after 20 years and they will receive percentage of the pay of whatever rank they were when they got out.
  4. Wait, US veterans are supposed to be "taken care of" upon leaving the military? Given jobs regardless of skill or qualification? F-yeah! I cant wait till my checks start rolling in! I'm owed back pay from '97 or so!
  5. FYI, Lucifer is back from hiatus.
  6. The various titles are discussed in depth in this thread if you feel like reading.
  7. Fortunately, I don't have to worry about that... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALXZ2ElV8_U
  8. No worries, I just Googled it up.
  9. What is in the minds of men? Jimmy Carter saw a UFO. Goddamn I'd like to encounter an alien. Not a scary tentacle alien, a Grey or maybe even a Reptoid.
  10. If that's your takeaway from my posts...maybe a TL;DR version will be better: Keep an open mind at all times regarding all matters.
  11. Its disappointing that a lot of people will lock on to the first rendition of the "information" and then forevermore that will be their standard truth on the matter. The sun orbiting the Earth, which is definitely a flat disk, and lousy with dragons if travelling by sea, were all FACTS at one time. How is a mind so small to believe nothing changes, or is invented, or becomes better understood over time?
  12. "This isnt how I learneded it!" is a terrifying concept. You know what else didn't exist until ~11 years ago? That smart phone glued to your hand. Science, technology and other understandings advance over the years. Shocking, I know!
  13. There's been some issues with IL cameras too. Something like; they are suppose to give you .5 seconds before firing but were only giving .3 seconds...something like that. They threw a bunch of tickets out over it. In my case it was actual video of me casually rolling up, mostly but not completely stopping, then turning right (you can legally turn right on a lot of red lights here but you have to stop first). Costs an even hundo per camera ticket around these parts.
  14. The last time I received a red light camera ticket they sent me a link, that when clicked upon, took me to a video of me straight up rolling thru a turn right on red. I was like, "yep Im guilty".
  15. Having just been to Vegas in January, a few observations: 1) Odds fella's, everything has odds. For example, your odds of winning a roulette spin are 37:1, which happen to be the best odds in the casino iirc. 2) The free drinks you get while gambling are of the lowest quality alcohols and are so small you are done in 3 sips. Drinks at a bar inside the casino are pretty expensive now so we would set up shop at one of the bars on the Vegas Strip and get our drunk on for cheap. 3) I won ~$300 on the crap table and then ran like a bandit. "Know when to hold em, know when to fold em" isn't just a catchy tune. I watched almost all my friends win a little cash, then get all ballsy and decide to make it rain, then ultimately walk away from the table having lost money.
  16. Ah, my ole yellow lab has them too. The vet actually stuck a hypo in one, sucked out some fat, and shot it on a piece of paper to prove to me they were just fatty masses. Coincidentally, we just had to shave a large mass of fur off our cat (he just gets crazy dreads if we don't) and that soft downy underfur just below the top coat is luxuriously. He especially loves getting pet and scratched in those freshly shaved areas.
  17. Hope all turns out well with your doggie, Malc.
  18. I'm a creature of habit, so back when I did work out it was all about routine, routine, routine. Then one day I stopped going for and Ive never been back. I idly toss around the idea of rejoining a gym...what were once a proud set of pec's are slowly transitioning to moobs...but at least nothing jiggles when I run down the stairs. DAMN YOU OLD AGE!!!
  19. Condolences, Tale.
  20. We played it over and over, disappointed if we didn't beat it. I was always Mr. Grimm and my wife was Spectre.
  21. As a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy that smokes dope, ^ that aint weed.
  22. I miss Twisted Metal.
  23. Absolutely agree. I'm thinking more zombie swarm tactics. Overwhelm with the sheer mass of numbers. Works for the undead.
