  1. Theres an estimated 300M guns in the US. I definitely would not want to be the dude whos job it is to go door to door collecting them. He's going to die of lead poisoning. I'm astonished by the number of casualties. 500+ not counting the 58 fatalities! Seriously?! I can only imagine the vast majority is trampling damage.
  2. The Orville Started out crap but has gotten better with every episode, imo. Ghosted Meh.
  3. Perhaps a camera in your bathroom?
  4. And bell towers?
  5. I was going to mention that the windows in Las Vegas hotels are only capable of opening ~1-2" (to deter jumpers). Looks like this guy shot them out. Perhaps bullteproof glass?
  6. And guns seem less dangerous than stampedes. As pointed out, almost any semi-automatic weapon can be converted to full automatic in under 10 minutes. An AR-15 modified to full auto can shoot approximately 2 rounds per second. So if we consider the 27 seconds of firing time he should only have been able to get off ~60 rounds. People are reporting "hundreds" of rounds fired so I wonder if he was dual wielding fully automatic weapons or if he had help.
  7. Las Vegas Shooting Near Mandalay Bay Casino Kills 50. Lets do a little napkin math: 1) We don't know the length of the second two bursts but lets assume the worst case scenario, 9 more second each, for a total of 27 seconds total firing time. 2) 456 casualties / 27 seconds = 16.89 casualty per second! I wonder how many of the 406 were shot and how many are injured from running away.
  8. Man, he must have been some kinda sniper or something. Im not sure he even fired 406 shots! Must have been getting 2-3 people per bullet.
  9. A great American hero, Dan Bilzerian, was there and left to get his gun. Unfortunately, the cowardly geriatric shooter shot himself before Dan could storm the hotel room.
  10. Back when I was in the Navy, females were forbidden from serving aboard combat vessels. So ronely.
  11. What the hell, Europe. The currency sign is on the wrong end, theres an unnecessary gap where the comma should be, and said comma should be a decimal point! Anyway, Google says that equals $59,063.50 at todays exchange rate! Crikey!
  12. RIP Monty Hall.
  13. Its a beautiful day, blue skies with no clouds, going to be 70something. Ah, I love days like today. Went fishing and didnt catch anything but thats ok. Its getting pretty crowded over by my fishing hole so I think Ill switch to Sundays which seems to have less people. I'm feeling the urge to get my daydrink on and my neighbor is renoing his kitchen so Ill probably go stand around over there and be the tool monkey. But I'm always watching and learning.
  14. Jeez, what do you guys have against kittens?
  15. Google translate doesnt support that conclusion but Im willing to accept it may be true. Funny if so.
  16. I wish I was a psychic vampire. Or just psychic. Or just a vampire. Im tired of being poor and mortal.
  17. But seriously, haven't you heard the raging debate going around the internet lately? That's a screen grab from the movie Valkyrie and the Twitterverse is in deep debate as to whether he is sporting a prosthetic booty. He says nay, its all real, and its spectacular.
  18. Nice legs!
  19. Detroit Lions' Akeem Spence: My father lost a contract because of my protest.
  20. Crow = crew, I think. I downloaded Fallout Shelter from the app store. Meh, I was bored five minutes in. Ill try to circle back to it later to see if it grabs me.
  21. We're through the looking glass: NSFW Legends Football League Shades NFL.
  22. K, got a return text. Yes, they still do it. An announcement is made over the speakers to "rise and recite" the pledge. You are allowed to sit down and not participate, but they still do it. I was glad to hear that.
  23. The Pledge of Allegiance was definately a thing in my early school years but I cant remember doing it in high school....but maybe we did? I skipped first period, a lot. This was in the 80's so even then I dont recall it being a thing anymore. Huh, I should ask my kid if they do it.
