  1. Well that sucks for people who like romance I suppose.
  2. I can't speak for anyone but myself really, but I'm pretty sure there are others who share my opinion. I'm a bit fatigued when it comes to the skimpier stuff, boobplates etc. There's been so much of it that I'm glad to see a different aproach in PoE. For me it's good to see female armor that looks like it belongs in the same world and plays by the same physics as male armor.
  3. You could probably make a case for sexism looking at the prevalence of certain female character designs in video games (RPG specificaly) and how it generaly differs from male character design.
  4. I've never been much for sexy armor design myself, so as you can imagine I'm pretty sick and tired of it in rpgs. Also sick of the very common disconnect between male and female armor designs. That's why I think the designs in PoE is a breath of fresh air. That said, I do like vareity a lot, as long as it feels at least somewhat consistent to the game world. As for the ring of protection argument and that everything is possible in fantasy. True, but why even wear armor in the first place then? Just enchant some comfy/sexy clothing instead of wearing (IMHO) silly looking parodies of armor? Subjective I know, but that's my two cents.
  5. On my order (which I made on the 11th of December) it says: Total:0.00$ Status: Confirmed Payment:None. I hope that won't be a problem. If I check my order summary it all seems to be correct though.
  6. Nice to see a little bit of gameplay, even if it is in teaser form. Looks pretty good considering it's still a year off. And I'm very happy that we're finally able to sort out our pledges.
  7. I wasn't too impressed either. But it's only one piece of music so it's too early to judge really.
  8. Same problem. I figured it was because I left the company line empty in the shipping information. But I don't have a company so I don't see why I would have to fill that line in.
  9. Beautiful! I'm happy to say I've already backed Stasis. It's looking really awesome!
  10. Not the big update I was hoping for but I love art so it's cool. Also, I'm glad you're taking your time making sure stuff gets done right.
  11. All I can say is wow. These screenshots look great. I'm also liking the portraits. Oh I'm feeling it. Yep definitely feeling it.
  12. I don't see what is wrong in a high fantasy to have bikini plate mail wearers. You see everyone already is supernaturally strong. Why would a sexy strong free woman NOT wear one When she knows she can best orcs bands in combat and put anyone down that talks smack. It's subjective I suppose but if you want my opinion on it, it's because it looks incredibly silly. It isn't even really subjective. Plate mail exists to protect the body from incoming attacks. Leaving large open holes in plate mail so you can show off some skin is incredibly stupid, even in high fantasy. You might as well not even bother wearing armor at all. Well there's always the "magic" argument. Which has it's problems too.

  14. Whoever did the BG2 portraits had some strange fascination with putting scars around people's eyes. It's actually the same artist. Mike Sass.
