  1. Saber Rider> Its a George Lucas movie, I expect it to be entertaining, little else. Yay! Although Im not shure thats the version used in the movie, that one had the guys who did ewok voices sing also. Hush... let it flow through you.. fill your every fiber.. love the ewok song..you must love it
  2. There was this old SW game that had the original RotJ ending tune(the ewok song, not the calypso crap) as sound test, it was hillarious, we just tested the sound over and over again til our parents went insane.
  3. They already have, but it doesnt have a title yet. It a nextgen console thingie.
  4. Was it better than the films?
  5. I find myself agreeing with VOlo more often than not lately. Disturbing.
  6. I dont know what the point is with THX, Ive been to these ultraspacedout theatres and Ive never noticed anything. ..now IMAX, that was wicked sick. They should make more movies for it.. except that theres only one theatre in Sweden.
  7. Only on the train, it was idiotic: -Sir, this is a firstclass wagon. Please move to the next one. -But the wagons are all the same, what does it matter where i sit? -Sir you have a regular class ticket, please move. -You're just moving me so all the twits here who've paid twice the price for absolutely nothing will feel better about themsleves, arent you? -...... please move, sir. Baley, not only are you too young to go to "those cinemas" but they tend to show "special" films. Films that regular cinemas dont show, and vice versa. Sometimes the title may sound similar to the real film but its not the same. There is no hardcore anal sex in the real Planet of the Apes for an example
  8. Me? Im just a happy little elf with a happy little axe *creepy giggle*
  9. Well, I prefer arriving 5min before the film starts, buy popcorn and calmly go to the seat I booked dead center and just the perfect distance for the screen, and just enjoy the film. No waiting, ques, no desperate bargaining for seats, no arguments, just the film.
  10. For something to be too innocent for homosexuality, you have to have the standpoint that its somehow morally questionable. It isnt! The only thing thats different about a gay relationship is that their of the same sex, nothing else. Homosexuality is not some kind of perversion. some people are lefthanded, some are gay. same thing.
  11. WHy thats just!! ...Anarchy! Chaos!! UNCIVILISED!!! Dont tell me you dont have numbered seats on trains either? FLatrus> nerd.
  12. Pedophilia is just too distasteful, a little bit of necrophilistic action would be though. 1. Oh, a dead body? I wonder what killed him? 2. Who left this garbage lying around? Minions! Clean up!! 3. Oooh, what do we have here? [Make love to dead body] :D
  13. Its how we do it here in efficient Sweden. Book it on the internet, choose seating and everything, then go to the theatre and insert your card in a machine and you've got your tickets. That way, we make sure we only have to suffer minimal contact with other human beings. :D ...well, that and last time I went unbooked, I got a place on the far right side in the front row. I strained my neck real bad.
  14. Well, now Ive booked my tickets, Saturday at 6. Several days after the premiere! Im not a nerd, see?
  15. Well, there's always Sin City.. but thats a little too obvious.
  16. summary: Coleman(or whoever it is, since you cant see anyone besides Galloway) first takes a 15min barrage of critiscism about the wrongdoings of certain parts of the US goverment AND acknowledges that the documents used to incriminate Galloway were false, but ignores it completely and just sits for the remainder of the time trying to coax Galloway into condemning alleged kickbaks from bussinessman Zureikat to Saddam- so that he in turn can say to Galloway "you accepted the money of a man who's bussiness methods you condemn". But his problem is that Galloway refuses to swallow the bait. In the end, Coleman just says it himself. Galloway accpeted money for his childrens aid fund from Zureikat who may have aquired some other money by breaking UN sanction rules. Its refreshing to see a man stand up for what he belives in and deliver just critiscism right to the face of his opponent. Its sad that the opponent can just brush away that critiscism and go on like nothing happened. The sole purpouse of the US instigated sanctions that cost thousands of Iraqi civilian lives was to ensure that Saddam Hussein stayed in power so that the economic status quo of the middle east was preserved. Do we question Bush sr.? Clinton? Bush jr.? Nope.
  17. So our FanArt thread wasnt good enough for you, huh? You had to go on an start a thread all by yourself.. Watch it, or you'll be in my next comic!
  18. The primary purpouse is to keep us from going insane and eventually die. The brain is simply constructed to disconnect from the senses and clear its memory buffer of crap at regular intervalls. Mammals that dont sleep(some mice dont) tend to have very short life cycles, a week or two at the most.
  19. So is it? A hen doesnt start laying gold eggs just because we want it to. Not even if it promises it will.
  20. You could skip it and just ask me. There is none with as inpeccable taste and my powers of judgement are unequalled. If Kaftan sayeth it is teh shizntitz, then it is so. Note: Plz STFU Noceur, you're going to get the thread locked.
  21. Me Kaftan. Me hates puny consoles. Me chrush dem! RRRAAAAAARRRGH!!!!
  22. Yes it does, when hell freezes over to be specific.
  23. I have no clue what the first chapter was about, the second was in a desert and nothing exciting happened.
  24. The trend right now in CRPGs is "action before story" and I have never been able to understand this concept. When I was in my early teens we had great fun playing ordinary PnP games with big battles and fights, and that was fun even though Ive long since tired of that kind of playing. But Ive never been able to get the point with hack n slash in CRPGs. I watched some of my friends go crazy about Diablo and play that night&day when it came but it bored the hell out of me. When I wanted to go on a killing spree Id play Quake or some other game that had real, hands-on action, not just pointing and clickling But Ive since understood that levelling and finding new spells and weapons also play a major part, that one I also recall from my early PnP days except no swedish game had levels so it was just nagging our GM to come up with new cool magic things for us. But that doesnt translate well into CRPGs either, its just a lot of looking through dead enemy bodies for "+3 dagger of frost". So, point being, what makes people play and love these games? And what makes companies go more for that type of game than a BIS style with proper story, characters and roleplaying?
  25. Well, apparently that is what their publisher/distributor has been telling the shops because Ive seen it listed as "to be released 2006".
