Crikey! Is that an etching? Sure looks like it.
-
I had to look at it again, damn! They must have used motion capture to do that :D and a pretty good dancer to do the moves! I know there are dance animations in the game for the entertainer class or whatever its called but I cant imagine it includes these "shakin' it like dat, aight?" moves.
-
Impressive. Even more so if they've done the dance animations themselves. FYI: "Fett" means "Lard, grease, blubber, fat etc." in Swedish :D So Boba wasnt really the hit here that he was elsewhere.

Thieves! The lot of you!! No, Im not bored. Whatever gave you that impression? Who needs sleep when there are alternatives? Like the bitter Volo-fueled flamewar erupting in the game forum :D

should you be able to do anything in a crpg?

Well, then I must inform you that in our public libraries there are thousand upon thousand of books containing descriptions of anything from incest to genocide, and these books are avilable for anyone to just walk in there and read! Even borrow and take it home! I just read this piece of utter filth written by some english bloke called Shakespeare, it was filled to the brim with murder, transexuality and complete madness! How can we sit by and let this continue under our very noses? It must be stopped, for the good of all. see? :D -
So, miss Launch. Where exactly do you steal your poses from? Are you not aware that a pose is an increadinly valuable piece of copyrighted material? What do you think the man who invented the comon contrapost would have made had he been alive today? And how are the producers and creators of poses supposed to make a living inventing new poses when people like you steal them without consideration? Im frankly appaled by your blatant disrespect for the intellectual property of the manufacturers of poses around the world.

*comes barging in without having even skimmed the latest 3 pages* There will always be catalysts for unstable people to do crazy things. This could very well be Fallout 2, A Christina Aguilera song, "Catcher in the rye" by JD Salinger or that his favorite football team lost. Should we adapt everything in our society after the extremes? "Water is dangerous, people drown in it. it should be banned!" -
Through no fault of my own, I had opportunity to see parts of the leaked workprint and the atrocious lines and horrid acting REALLY stands out because the sound mix is alot less polished than the complete version. The whole mace vs. palps & anakins fall to the darkside is so increadibly bad. Ian McDearmid sounds like he's dubbing a childrens cartoon ffs! Right now Id say that RotS has the worst script and acting of the series, but I could be repressing some memories of EpII

*appleuds Launch* splendid! Lidda-Bit> I actually have nothing against Atton, it just fit the scene. Btw, how do you do your stuff? Photoshop? And Bob Hund is probably as far away from those bands as you can get its some kind of poprock. Ive bought records from the guys in Opeth & Katatonia, they have this store called "mellotronen" that sells old vinyls. Last time, both Mikael and Jonas were there. spam spam spam. *looks at own comic* spelling errors. gah. i slipped on the keys, ok?
-
Bob Hund is a very famous swedish band and the dog head with pipe is their logo. They have a project in english called "Bergman rock" which is only slightly different musicly. They are absolutely kickass live, Ive seen them lots of times and it always a pure rush of happiness but you could never truly understand the magic if ye dont speak swedish

ok, I was fooling around with lettering and made this Sin City vs. KoTOR thingie.
-
In this new episode, Visas find love but not without complications: The text is the hardest part, takes forever and never fits Im thinking about doing the next ones with real fonts. And a cookie to anyone who recognises the dog you have a not-so-subtle hint.

First of all, there is no reliable scientific proof that violent videogames encourages violence in those who play them. Except for children of low ages(up to 7-8yearolds) that have not yet fully developed their empathical abilities, they will go beat up other kids etc because they cant understand that it hurts them. It is the parents, and only the parents, duty to ensure that an impressionable kid is kept away from violent entertainment. In all other cases, anything that is appropriate for the game world goes. If domestic violence, prostitution or anything else can make interesting contributions to the game, it should be there. The devs shouldnt go out of their way to make it possible to murder children but if you, like in Fallout, can kill/steal from/etc. everyone, then that must include child NPC's. And innocent bystanders getting hit by stray bullets is something that happens every day, I think its very good that this is included in Fallout because it forces you to check your fire. Its tragic when it happens but any good drama contains a bit of tragedy. -
So I just do the quests without joining them?(Ive already wacked Salvatore) Could you say, without too much spoilers, if joining a family will have any major consequences beyond New Reno? edit: just saw Sp's post.

Will you buy LucasArts products after KOTOR II?
Kaftan Barlast replied to ncr's topic in Computer and Console
Dito. Except if it was an outright action RPG, then Id leave it alone. -
Doesnt anyone know anything about this? Id hate for it to be so that I join the mob and then get "sorry, youre a mobster and we wont let you into our town anymore" or something like that later in the game. Zagor> well, there are no parts of the game that specificly require you to blast children with miniguns, so I dont really see any issue there. its an RPG, you're supposed to be able to do anything thats possible in real life, good or bad.
-
A more serious question,Im in New Reno. Is it possible to play different factions or am I forever branded once I join one of the families? I wouldnt want to do anything that would limit my game opportunities.
-
Not letting the players know what they're playing is a great idea. We only got halfway by not letting the players know what rule system we were using, thereby forcing them to roleplay more instead of just stating that they used this or that skill etc. The players had to write a short essay that the GM would then "translate" onto a character sheet and then he would handle all rolls etc. from behind a screen so they players never knew what was going on.
-
Is it better than the .223 sniper rifle? Does the SPECIAL rule system have any measurement for weapon accuracy or is the entirely dependant one the character? What Im asking is if a pistol is as accurate as a rifle, only that it has shorter range? A magnetic coil gun would never need more than one "barrell" anyways. Since there are no hot powder gasses to overheat the barrel, you dont need any multiple-barrell contraption to help dissipate heat.
-
I think Volo would force himself to love that scene just to spite us :D
-
This game has some strange ideas about guns. First of all .223 or 5.56mm as we euros call it, is a relatively weak ammo with no stopping power and definetly nothing you have in sniper rifles or hunting rifles(unless your hunting small animals). The military uses it because it enables soliders to carry more ammo than with larger calibres. And then that a .44mag revolver fires faster than a Desert eagle? The DE is semiauto while the revolver relies on muscle force to pull the trigger in order to rotate the mechanism. And what is a Gauss gun supposed to be? I remember that in Syndicate it looked very much like a curved d i l d o.
