The confusion of multi-continuity comics: Ive made my way through the entire Ultimate X-Men comicsand I liked it very much but as I was going to get back to the regular comics I am greeted by the fact that there's atleast 4 different mags and I have no clue which one is supposed to be the classical X-men and Marvels page offers me no explanation. Does anyone know the differance between: Astonishing X-men Uncanny X-men X-men New X-men

Its very nice the subtle adult themes present in the game, like how its the most natural thing in the world that the landladies are lesbians and Zack the bastard asks if youre going to "put out" and so on. pg-13 games really get on my nerves sometimes

Half the people are going to say nVidia and the other half is going to say ATI. My personal experience is that nVidia offers a lot more stability than ATI but that isnt necessairly true(as with the gamma bug I mentioned).

Well, thats about you versus the other 98% ATI users who cant play a single game without fiddling with drivers back and forth. Like I used to be, for instance (I exaggretate of course, it was only about every third game but thats too much) The fiasco with K2 was single-handedly ATI's fault, the week of K2's release they put out a new set of drivers that were largely(this is good) completely incompatible with K2's renderer. While nVidia users experienced no problems "

The previous statement just HAD to bite me in ass.. apprently there is a bug in the latest nVidia drivers that oversets the Gamma for video overlays, f*cking up the picture real good.

Im not buying another ATI product until they learn to write good, working drivers. The only complain I got with this baby is that despite its double-deck design, the fan does not have an air intake for drawing cool air from outside the computer like ATI has. But then again, maybe its because ATI has patented that method.

Im already a ScummVM user, but this version works best with DOSbox. I did use it to play both Beneath a steel sky and Day of the Tentacle ENDER> Youve never played a LA adventure game?! Yeah, its totally kickass Ive been plannning on replaying Monkey Island 2 for months but I think Ive heard that theres a CD version with spoken dialouge instead of just text.

I would say that you either have very poor eyesight or is using an 8" monitor. Id say that Antialiasing is absolutely essential, seeing jagged edges on 3D objects really makes me cringe. Antialiasing is the most important 3D feature after that thing..I dont recall what it was called.. that made textures blur out instead of going pixel-y at close range.

This is really getting on my nerves. Whener I look at something like out the window or in the closet, nothing happens, Im still in room view but I can interact with the objects inside. This is one weird bug To clarify, it loads the interactive script mapping but not its graphic, so while I still only see the previous view(the room etc.) I can still find objects my moving the pointer over the screen at random edit: it works if I turn of hardware 3D.. but the game looks horrible edit 2: it now works, it seems it couldnt handle 8X Antialiasing, the problem went away when I set it down to 4X. I havent spent this much time tweaking a game since the old DOS days

As I just got a new comp I experienced some crackling noise in the game if you suffer similar problems then switch to hardware sound and/or disable voice com. And mute/disable every sound port youre not using like line in etc.
