I actually couldn't watch Supergirl because of Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant.
She put me off, too, until the writers and Calista found a rhythm. Cat has the best quips in the show and a character arc that works.
Presentation seems to make a difference. Watching in 1080i on broadcast was muddy and distant and kinda boring, without realizing it. Now on blu-ray with this fancy pants UHD 4K display ... feels like I'm right there in National City--which I've deduced is located just south of the real Pismo Beach.

Undefeated Vikings, wow. That's it, I'm packing up and moving to Minneapolis, joining the purple win wagon aboard their new gigantic glass galley.
Been too long since I pushed a snowblower and spread salt on the sidewalk. I'm gonna wear purple gloves and earmuffs when I do, because that's what winners do.

Actually this 'American Prairie' blend is maybe lower down on my favorites list. Leaves a bit of a film over the intake valves, and a single ice cube destroys the character. Still decent enough, super groovy bottle, and they donate ten percent to the cause.

Seriously a baby lizard bolted across the wall in the hall next to the kitchen as I went past. Thought it was a super speedy centipede at first, but I broke out my trusty Heider BBX Super Power flashlight Walsingham made me buy, searched and searched, found the little guy clinging to the paper shredder. Definitely lizard. Disappeared immediately.
