I pooh-poohed the mini-map prior to playing, saying it seemed sorta cheaty, but now it's indispensable. Really helps with OCD treasure collection.

Tyranny by contrast felt like it started rather poorly. You didn't get a chance to have a proper conversation, or learn anything about the universe, before the Oathbreaker Runners showed up. It all felt very shoehorned, and too fast paced.
Hit the Conquest button after making a character and you get the introduction to the universe.

Safe to say you can put a nut on the Bolts season, too. Third-time so far a different team captain is out for the season with injury, and that's just the defense.
Plus, Philip threw four INTs in thirteen pass attempts in the fourth quarter v. Miami.

Extra Life, by way of Obsidian live-streaming games on their Twitch channel. All funds go to the Children's Hospital of Orange County, CHOC, healing and saving the lives of children, regardless of their background.
During their streams, Obs has drinking rules and if you donate a modest amount, you get to make a rule: every time your character dies, drink, or whatever. I may have drunk-donated about $400 in the last year, but it's fun and for the kids.

Our Lizard Overlords has sent his representative to my place again...
Not really, but I was delighted to see that my matted glass window next to my front door has yet again become home to a gecko at night. Little guy just seems have worked out a good deal there, sitting and waiting for insects to be attracted by the light. Sometimes I even leave the light on at night just for its benefit. Yeah, I'm silly like that sometimes.
My front-door denizen is named Lizardo and he or she is more than three inches in length and scampers away almost every day I come home.

The very important announcements were a bevy of peripherals to be given away, courtesy of Razer, and VIP guests during the stream--no new game announcements. Gear was awesome, guests even better, all for the children. Even Fearg was in chat. Obs' people are the best.

Nice, I love it, Hobbling an enemy from a distance then closing in for a Knock Back punch to the face.

Legends of Tomorrow is silly fun
Well it used to be, but holy crap am I amazed how utterly terrible the second season is so far.
I know, I'm watching it now. As soon as I gave up taking the show seriously or serially I enjoyed it.
Tonight's episode, words of dialogue literally said out loud : Star Trek: The Next Generation and Obsidian.

Lena Luthor coming on strong in Super G, ostensibly as a helpful and powerfully brilliant good guy, which can only mean she's secretly diabolical despite (or because of) her adoption into chrome-dome's evil family.
Alex Danvers' inner identity turmoil is really touching, Chyler Leigh's performance so distinctly endearing.
Also, Lucifer is surprisingly reliable and fun and unpredictable.

Yes, I didn't go to the dealer, I knew about 'how much is wow' beforehand. The place I went to sourced an OEM part at cost, so I'm gonna give back in gratuity. Should always tip techs you trust.
Forty-five more minutes and I'll hoof it back there. It's probably like only five miles.
