Though i will problably never play ds, eddo makes a veryvery good idea. If ur apprentice is a sith apprentice, he/she could either challenge u (quite rashly i'm guessing) or u strike him/her before ur apprentice becomes 2 powerful. It would certainly add to the feeling that u were a real sith, and not just some kind of thug or bully.

I beleive that this may hav already been discussed, i may be wrong, but i will make a comment. A master/apprentice relationship could well work, and is a good idea. U tell him/her the best course of action. However, i feel that there is just one problem. U r trying to reconnect with the force after 5 years in exile. I am wondering if at any point in the game, u will be reconnected enough to take on ur own apprentice. But imagine if it is one of ur npc party members who becomes the apprentice. Though unlikely the council (if they r still alive, problably hiding in outer rim) will accept the training for a party member, since they r 2 old, these r desperate times (just like in KOTOR) and may hav no choice but to accept u as a master training an apprentice. Who could this force sensitive npc be? Mira, Atton Rand, an unmentioned party member as of yet. Lets wait and see.

May i ask eddo, what is the problem u hav with a female Revan. I've never played as a female Revan in the original and problably never will, but that doesn't mean that I am not happy with a female Revan. Some would want a female Revan, and I would not question their decision. Still i am not u, and u r entitled to ur own opinions. Back to topic, if Revan does indeed die, my question is what will happen to Bastila. (if she is in KOTOR2) Will she join u, seeking justice (lightside), or vengeance (darkside) for her fallen friend (possibly lover) (lightside) or for her fallen master (even though she would one day challenge Revan) (darkside). Another question is if he dies (lets hope not) will he still hav a role to play in the game (and maybe even KOTOR3).

I prefer the Jedi Guardian as it is the only class i ever use. Besides that, the Consular and Sentinel hav more force powers and force points, but whats the point of them if three quarters of the time (even low level grunts can do this too often) the enemies resist the force powers used gainst them. I can understand this for force users, but low level sith soldiers. This is something i would like to see fixed, force powers being more effective.

I hav also heard what Sirius and Teksuni hav heard, and beleive that the questions Kreia (and possilbly Atton Rand) ask u at the start of the game, hav been confirmed. So we most likely will see Kreia ask us these questions at the start, in the first level.

I hav been looking on the Lucasarts forums, and i found a section (in a topic) about the release date. The release date will be confirmed in the next 2-3 weeks is what i read (shouts of *HURRAH*) so not much longer to wait for the release date, lets hope it's december.

I agree with habbo's bit on droids with swords, it porblably would work. But like SunTzu said, cyborgs could. After all, cyborgs r still human in some ways, but mechanical in others. If the best of both worlds is combined, with droids with there excellent targeting with ranged weapons, and humans with there inventiveness and dexterity, a cyborg could weild a sword or other melee weapons.

U r right i hav misunderstood, sorry. But rather than a totally seperate questionnaire like u r suggesting, before u create your character, with npcs asking u the questions, it makes it feel a bit more immersive, like they ask u those questions, like u r actually there. Again, sorry for misunderstanding your first post in this topic.

Indeed, this was one problem i had with the original. At some points, they enemy would be standing right next to the character with ranged weapons, smacking him away, while this guy with guns can only mange about one or two hits with evry volley. This is one reason why i never used ranged weapons (except grenades) later in the game. They just become worthless and useless, no matter how much they r upgraded

Well if they did it as a seprate questionnaire, there would be lots of different answers in it from all asked. Then, the developers would only be able to implement the answers that got the highest score. Not evry1 would be pleased with the story if u could only hav one way to go, rather than the more freeform way we already hav. With this npc question style (i beleive it has been done in games past), they can cater for nearly, if not evry1's way they beat the original game. It also saves time and money since they dont hav to create the quetionnaire on the website, and means they dont need to then spend time looking at all the results they got, tallying them, and then counting them up. The npc style quetions mean they can do all ths in game.

I found that killing any of my party mambers at all was no fun for me at all (I hav nver even tried to kill Bastila) the one and only time i played as darkside. I voted there is no death, but i found that Malak was most fun killing, since he needed to recharge every 5 minutes (u r his former master after all, it makes sense that u r more powerful than him), and when i found out that u can destroy the tubes the jedi r in (after first ones life force is absorbed by Malak) with destroy droid, it made it that much easier and quicker to beast him. I'm a good guy, i didnt like killing any party members since i felt a real attachment to them all (yes even Carth and Bastila). I felt like they were ur friends (and more for Bastila since i always did male romance angle), and that u were betraying them. I felt guilty. I dont get why people hate Carth and Bastila. Maybe because "they talk to much, Bastila is stuck up at first, Carth always seems to whine..." i dont know, but thats just me.

I'm not so sure about fighting something similar to an AT-ST. I am not sure how it would be implemented, due to the close up camera, and the sheer size of the scout walker. Cyborgs however, a cool idea. The sith could hav been experimenting with sith troopers, and using technology and the force, create the ultimate trooper. My idea is droids that can use melee (one type of droid on the starforge could) or at least more of them. Droids that wield swords could add a differet challenge. Since droids hav perhaps faster refexes than your characters (non-force users anyway) it means u would need to find a way to counter it.

Thx for all ur posts, keep em coming. Sorry about going over the top with the whole world mourning him thing (yes i am obessed with KOTOR2, why do u think i called myself a fanactic). Anyway, if Revan does die (pls dont let him die), it should indeed be in a brilliant and spectacular way, as many have posted on my topic. He should either sacrifice himself to save evry1 (lighside) or die fighting a sith lord for control of the galaxy (darkside). I realise these ideas hav been posted already, but they r good ideas. Still, heres hoping he doesnt die, but if he does, u could still see him as a spirit, much like obiwankenobi in episodes 4, 5, 6. (Just an idea for KOTOR3 or even KOTOR2)

He is mentioned in the databank, but not given a real persona. I'm guessing becxause of all the possibilities of outcomes that could happne. The large number of faces to choose from, male or female, lightside or darkside. They had to take all these things into account. In the end they may hav thought it wasnt worth it. Bunch of lazy wookies

Personnely, i do not want to see Revan killed off. He was my favourite character (along with Bastila and Jolee) out of the original. I think that even after KOTOR2, he will still have a role to play, (even if it is just another cameo). Anyway, what do u all think? There has been some speculation about this. Some hav said yes he will, some had said no he wont.

I am not arguing with u mucka, but when i first looked around, there was a lot of people mentioning 3 sith lords (Sion, MSG, and an unknown). It could well be possible to have 5, and i believe it possible. That could well have been there plan, but plans can change, and go wrong. We will just hav to wait and see how many there r.

i agree with sirius, if u could carry evrything around with u, why bother putting anything into containers other than to find stuff in ur inventory quicker. This is one improvement that could be made. A weight limit, a limit to how much u can carry. Anyway, back to topic t3 is one of your npcs true, but be glad most others r not, including Bastila. Even though Bastila is an important character ( as stated ) the story from the original cast has passed so at least we get to here what has happened with the original cast, while getting a brand new one at the same time, what more could u ask for. U problably gain possesion of t3 since t3 cant find Revan, and thinks traveling. with u will lead him back to his old master

Mucka yes it will be a GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT game (sorry for this tony impression) with ur idea of a sudden unknown 4th lord, that makes me think, how many, yes i know ive said 3 (plus Revan if ds) but what if there was a 4th, or even a 5th. It could easily prolong the game but i think there will be 3 sith lords, 4 at an outside chance (both includes Revan as a possible sith lord if he is ds) and Sirius, u hav a very good idea, one i think could happen. I problably wont play anything other than lightside male, but hypothectically. it would be cool to become a sith lord, to cease the mantle of dark lord from these other lords (howevr many there r and maybe even from Revan) U hav also helped me think of the game in another way thx for that

I agree TSAdmiral. I also agree with u SunTzu. I also agree with lowiei (at least the part about the questions, but nothing more). We have all made valid points on this. Many believe Revan will make a cameo ( as stated). To TSAdmiral, we hav at least some idea of his importance, in that u must hav met up with him somewhere before the start of the game since u wake up (semi-concious) on the ebon hawk. Either that or u stole the ship and his droid (T3-M4) which is highly unlikely. To SunTzu, u also make a valid point, that although he may be mentioned, he may not show up at all. However, he is very important in the first game, and appears to also be very important in the second. With this importance in (supposedly) both games, it looks like he will turn up. The fact that Revan is likely to turn up is also my reasoning for Bastila's likely return, but lets not get off topic. To lowiei, a nice idea, and not a bad one either. It's better than some of the garbage ideas i've seen (no offence just voicing my opinions) but i do not think it will be like that. Your character was very loyal to Revan during the mandalore Wars (or so i've heard) so if u r darkside or lightside, i believe u will still be loyal to Revan (unless he is the opposite alignment). Still, mucka i do not think they will come cluching a baby in one hand and a saber in another. Still, like i said lowiei, good idea.

So far i hav only heard about 3 sith lords, Darth Sion, MSG, and a third mystery unmentioned sith, though i believe there is possibility of more. I personnely think that 3 sith lords, competing for the galaxy with the republic, and problably between themselves, is enough. If u brough in anymore sith lords i think things will start to get a little to big (of course there is always room for Revan as a ds sith lord to be competing, even though ill problably only evr do ls since im not an evil guy) Lets hpe we find out who these final 2 (known) sith r (MSG and mystery sith)

Hmmmmmmmmmm, though it is a blur, it does look white/silver. There r new saber colours so it is possible.
