  1. I don't belive i've given a personal opinon on this topic as much as simply highlighted a few of the issues surrounding it. Use of words such as 'theoretical' should have shown this.
  2. Yeah, we don't, like, play in teams or anything.
  3. Llyranor and I, as well as some other pals, used to play a lot of zombie CSS (you filled the other team with bots and gave them nothing but knives) which is the concept that directly influenced Left4Dead. Great fun.
  4. I havn't seen much of it, but I love the concept of directed adlib comedy.
  5. And ducks eat it. But yeah, as deadlydude says, it's a coop RAGE zombie game, presision aiming isn't really what i'm caring about.
  6. I love men who act all mysterious.
  7. This game better not feature unacceptable simian casualties.
  8. And yeah, the general convenience of standadised equipment, VOip and matchmaking/friendslists shouldn't be understated.
  9. Oh, great, years of crap, religious wars, oppression and scientific backpedling, but it's okay because Landiskan is happy that he's going to heaven.
  10. Becides, the controler isn't an issue, i'm pretty much as good at console shooters now as I ever was at PC ones. The mouse might be more accurate, but having to pinpoint aim at everything is kind of annoying.
  11. THERE BETTER BE CRATES. I guess they can use the crate engine from the Aliens game though.
  12. How is 'going to heaven' a benefit for europe? Contients don't go to heaven.
  13. It's sort of up in the air for most of us from what I gather, though the inclusion of guesting on the 360 version would make that the deciding factor for at least some of us.
  14. My real problem with american humour is your crappy sitcoms, which arn't so much humour made for people who enjoy humour, but humor for people who enjoy watching soaps. The writing (and concept) in Friends, for example, is technically brilliant *for what it is*, but you look at the fan base and you find a bunch of giggling schoolgirls and other assorted losers who would turn their noses up at anything resembling actual humour. It's really your animated comedy and latenight talkshows that show the real funny side of america. Incidently, it seems that adaptations of more recent experimental british comedy, such as The Office and Peep Show have suddenly become very popular over there, but I find it amusing that they need to be remade for the American audiance.
  15. 'Drop bears are commonly said to be unusually large, vicious, carnivorous koalas that inhabit treetops and attack their prey by dropping onto their heads from above. They are an example of local lore intended to frighten and confuse outsiders, and amuse locals, similar to the jackalope, hoop snake, wild haggis or snipe.' hahahahahahahah, I just found new respect for Australia.
  16. <3<3 Better have guesting.
  17. Oh, yeah, another thumbs up for Puzzle Quest, i've got the XBLA version and got completely addicted.
  18. That doesn't make them experts though, parents, espessally new parents can often be as insecure as the child they're raising, and with everyone saying different things are 'best' it can be very confusing as you probably know. Not that this doesn't mean they're the best ones for the job, but even for ostrisised kids there are risks that lack of social development will negatively effect them later in life. From what i've heard though, american public middle and highschools can be a real trial by fire, which could be why homeschooling seems to be a more popular choise for the middle classes over there than it is in the UK. This is only an impression though, and not based on any actual figures.
  19. Not commenting on things we have no interest, opinion or relation to would be entirely against the spirit of this forum.
  20. That's got nothing to do with me, stupid vibrate.
  21. the Advance Wars games are godly if you have any interest in TBS games, but if you want an SRPG look into the GBA Fire Emblem games, pretty much the best SRPGs ever made (but 'hardcore', very unforgiving).
  22. Where flirting = verbal abuse and teamkilling
  23. The real argument against homeschooling, on the basis that the kids learn the same stuff anyway, is the throretical lack of peer exposure needed to develop real-world social skills.
