  1. Also, if Paypal pledges are still up for a while after, they might get closer to the goal. It will just be a bit smaller for a "big" city. and I want my 2nd big city. Yeah, that's what I'm hoping too. If we reach 3.3 million they should add a "smaller big city" or at least a town like Beregost in BG1, I think the only way to reach 3.5 million talking everyone that already backed PE into rising its pledge. I don't think we can make it with just new backers.
  2. The screenshot is gorgeous, its details compete with all the latest videogames. Just two questions: 1- Don't you think the player will miss the possibility to rotate the camera? 2- What do you think about side-scrolling? Will it be as realistic as it would be in a full 3D environment? (Like in Diablo III for example) 3- How are you going to handle environmental animations? Like the leaves of the trees: the wind should make them move. The stronghold would be great, another big city would be TOTALLY AWESOME. Thanks for listening to the community! It's sad that we'll probably never see those features. The overall amount of the pledge is increasing too slowly. The new stretch goals are great, but I don't think that they will be enough to increase the rate at which the donations come. But, as we say in Italy, hopes are the last to die! GOGOGO kickstarter community!
  3. A keep like that would be great. I hope the "player house" the developers announced as a stretch goal will end up becoming something like you described.
  4. The world has an uncanny resemblance to Western Europe.... just without the British Isles. ^^ This map is higly inspired by the Dalelands from the D&D Forgotten Realms Setting. The pearlwood gulf resembles the Mistledale territories' shape. The ruins of Eir Glafanth are the Ruins of Mith Drannor The Court of Sowing ashes is the Elven Court And so on. Even the graphic style resembles the style of the Forgotten Realms map for 3.0 edition.
  5. I think I got misunderstood. Edited my original post to explain my point of view.
  6. I just wanted to say: "What is in the game right now is enough, at least IMHO. Make shure that what you have already announced will be great, don't keep adding content for the sake of adding. The players (at least me) do not want quantity, they want quality... and the assurance that this game will reach the shops".
  7. Like some journalist around the internet I'm getting scared with all the stretch goals set up by Obsidian. They seem to be a lot of stuff, perhaps too much for a company that had its fair share of project cancellations. I don't want to be a jinx, I trust obsidian and I love all the people who work there for all the great games they made. I just want to say: I want this game to reach the (online) shops! So don't bite more than you can chew, we don't need 35 different classes, we don't need a 150 gameplay hours game, we just need a great RPG game. Ok? Best of luck! [Edit: Disclaimer 1: I never said that Obsidian announced 35 classes and 150 hours of gameplay. My statement was just a way to say that I'd prefer that the developers focused on quality over quantity. Disclaimer 2: I'm not saying that I don't trust Obsidian! I don't even know how many man-hours each stretch goal will take to complete! I'm just trying to tell the developers not to worry about the amount of content they are planning to put in the game. To me even a 20-40 hours game is going to be fine!]
  8. I speak english perfectly but I still want an Italian translation for this game. I would be able to talk a lot of friends into buying PE if it had italian as a supported language. Don't make me play this game alone
