I almost expected him to pop a blood vessel in that interview.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting to be well-received, but my optimism is naive.

So apparently anti-corruption is bad in the eyes of some. I tried referring to my position in this manner and was shortly shouted down because talking about ethics until harassment has been solved is wrong. Apparently wanting to talk about ethical practices is equivalent to abuse, and is part of "patriarchal oppression". I think I'm going to drink some black tea and study, this rabbit hole looks a bit too insane for my current temperament.

I certainly have no problem referring to myself as anti-corruption, think I'll try it on for a while.

Looks like Adam Baldwin, Boogie2988, Daniel Varva, Georgina Young, Jennie Bharaj, and Milo are as well. EDIT: So is pornstar Mercedes Carrera. Tunderf00t surprisingly didn't make it.

What Malcador said. And link please. https://mobile.twitter.com/arthur_affect/status/529718732956790784 Pakman interviewed a KKK politician who went on to shoot up a synagogue. Chu is angry about that I guess.

I believe Chu writes about vidya for Salon.

So Pakman interviewed Arthur Chu and now Chu is having a meltdown.

Wow, did that really happen? I didn't even hear about this one. Yup. Where's his TV-spot? Between a Kardashian selfie and some rich people telling the poor what to do. And yes, KoP was sent a knife and had the fire department called to his residence due to a claim of him being suicidal. See, it's things like this that make it a lot harder to denounce the harassment coming from GG because the other side is just as bad, if not worse. It's like harassment is the goddamn status quo and that pisses me the hell off. I have no problem denouncing harassment wherever I see it, and I will continue to do so regardless of who is doing the harassing or who the victim is. If those on the pro-corruption side are willing to look the other way when the harassment is from one of their own or the victim is someone they dislike, I think that shows a lot about their character.

I'm surprised he made it this long. You think he would've od'd or had a heart attack with his weight and habits.

Take it down a notch.Never! Just irritating to be aware they exist, much like Rob Ford. Still, the amusing thing about this is that all the, ahem, victims are doing pretty well. Why I laugh when I read people post about how terrible this and the lives "ruined".Rather surprised it has kept going, though I shouldn't be. War waged on social media where everyone must be a snarky **** at any given moment and SJWs that can't pass up on bait to prove they care.

Far too much. Uh, not according to the link KP put up. You couldn't get me out of bed for most of those salaries, and I'm an underpaid educator! An average for freelancers is $26k? Yikes. I can see why they all suck. No legitimate journalist would go near those numbers. It should be noted that freelancers have some other kind of income(according to the link), and you would need to as well with those peanuts. Then there is the whole unpaid interns thing zor brought up, which arguably drives the average lower. The staff wages aren't much better unfortunately, and you get what you pay for, evidenced by the glorified bloggers currently staffing these sites. Unfortunately, said bloggers do have more power than some dude on WordPress, and I can see how a hit-piece or negative **** dump can severely affect the reputation of a dev, game, or studio. That isn't to say we should bar any ideology from criticising games, but a separation between reviews and opinion pieces would be nice. All of this is pretty irrelevant though, YouTube personalities will probably dominate the reviews market and professional printed reviews will go the way of the typewriter. I personally welcome this, as I find footage of gameplay to be much more informative than some hipster in a tiffy about Bayonetta's bewbs or that the game needlessly encourages violence.
