Anime - coasting on emotion rollers
Great Pretender: London Snow. After Hollywood movie mobsters and a pair of exiled princes from a middle eastern country the season finishes with the most vile mark left, an art critic. The series manages to be funny (to me at least), with the in-between steps being unpredictable but the endgame being pretty clear. I'd recommend it if you're looking for something short that doesn't require too much investment but is still fun. I think Ocarina of Time was one of the first games I played. It probably has aged terribly, but I loved it back in the day. Zelda games I haven't played are Skyward Sword, stuff from before Link's Awakening (which I think just got a switch remake), and for the most part BotW since I always end up stopping right a bit after the intro area. I haven't played the Switch besides playing Smash Bros with my fiance, maybe I should try to finish that game.

For Sailor Moon I watched the original anime subbed. Sailor Moon Crystal looks hideous and should be avoided. The rest of Stardust Crusaders is awesome, and it gets beaten by Diamond is Unbreakable and Golden Wind.

Oh man you haven't even seen Iggy's solo episodes yet.

I finished Steven Universe Future. Pretty sure that's it, unless Cartoon Network or WB pull something to drive up subs to HBO MAX. It was a ride.

I don't think it ever stops doing that. It's kind of strange in that when you look at when the manga came out it both set a precedent for a lot of shonen manga while moving past it in a lot of ways. It also doesn't get very close to tournament/training arcs besides a few episodes, and it generally does that better than hyperbolic time chambers and similar stuff.

I don't really drink soda without alcohol, so maybe I'll try that next.

Bourbon sidecars. Not bad tbh. Soda has gotten really weird.

Oh yeah, those swarms of Agent Smith scenes look really bad now. Oh ****, I haven't watched that in years. How bad does the animated blood look now?

It's interesting to watch old movies with practical effects and see how they've aged relatively well while cgi looks like a 90s Playstation game.

The TV and Streaming thread Series 4
On one hand a Shadowrun show could be good, on the other hand it could get ****ed up and be on the same tier as Discovery.

That's because Blue Pearl is better AND more powerful. Yellow Pearl's smugness can't compete with Blue Pearl's emotional turmoil or shy silliness. To top it all off, during the trial episode Blue Pearl showed how much better she was when Even this thread isn't safe from Kyubey.

Yes. I've got a headache but I'll do my best to explain. I've also watched a large block of SU Future, but I'll probably talk about that later. Sounds like it's a little tame compared to the manga, where it is more explicit. I haven't read it in a while though, because it just isn't for me.

Steven Universe the Movie. It was pretty good. I'll try and write more later, but I'm feeling lethargic and typing is very difficult to do right now.

Should've used Dr. Pepper tbh.

Honestly I didn't mind Lars (keeping in mind he was supposed to be unlikeable) or the Cool Kids that much, and I'd go as far to say that Sour Cream is actually funny. Onion could be annoying or creepy and was unpleasant to see focused on, but thankfully that didn't happen too much. Of course, Ronaldo was the best townie character (and the part of Food Wars where he really did have a girlfriend was perfect). It's not just the length of the episodes, it's concurrence as well. Super S had long stretches of bad episodes with few breaks while SU was over in 11 minutes and usually led to a good few episodes. That's a big reason why I was able to go through SU so fast.

Do you do just beef or half beef half pork?

There were individual episodes of SU I didn't like, but they weren't anywhere near stuff like we've complained about in SM Super S. It also helps that episodes are mostly 11 minutes, so it got over quicker. When I really think about it, the only episode I actively dislike is Uncle Granpad hijacking the show.

As much as the show takes from anime and manga, that had to be intentional. Yellow Diamond wishes she had that mullet though.

Finished up Steven Universe. I half expected to hear the musicbox version of Moonlight Densetsu pop up several times.

Insomnia drove me to watch a ton of SU. Last episode was the one where Ruby becomes a cowgirl.- What Are you Playing Now: Living the Good Life
I think Diablo 2 was one of the first game I played on PC. The remake may be worth checking out. Though it may not hold up because the real Diablo was the friends we made on the way. This looks interesting.- Anime - coasting on emotion rollers
That makes sense. They also could have really bad taste. Or alternatively the studio could be an attempt to harvest psychic rage and grief in order to rip a hole in dimensions and bring forth horrors too much for the human mind to comprehend.- Anime - coasting on emotion rollers
