  1. OGB, how can I explain it I'll take you frame by frame it To have y'all jumpin', shall we singin' it O is for Old, G is for God, scratch your temple The last B...well...that's not that simple
  2. I personally found Flemeth a lot more interesting a character than Morrigan, despite the fact that Flemeth's appearences were quite brief. I do kind of wonder if Morrigan's been Flemeth'd.
  3. With BioWare's Revolutionary Proprietary UglyTech® Rendering Technology, We're Now Able To Produce A Staggering 75% More Ugly Characters. * UglyTech is a trademark of BioWare, a subsidiary of Electronic Arts. All right reserved.
  4. At least the love scenes in The Witcher 2 were far less awkward than Dragon Age 2, or any love scene is a BioWare game for that matter. Also, the love scenes with Triss serve a purpose as the love triangle between Geralt Triss and Yennefer is an important part of the trilogy's storyline. The other potential love scenes are superfluous, though.
  5. I'm with Tagaziel, I though The Witcher 2 was an improvement on TW1 in practically every way, combat being the most obvious. While combat in TW2 was far from perfect, it was a million times better than what TW1 had going on.
  6. Yeah, Tera is definitely similar to how Neverwinter plays, but at least with Neverwinter you don't have to deal with the incredibly creepy loli/furry fetish aspect. Movement on the battlefield becomes even more important in endgame dungeon boss fights. It's all about dodging AoEs and effectively utilizing skills that relieve or make you temporarily immune to stuns or knockdowns. Another good thing about Neverwinter, as compared to other F2Ps, is that you level super quickly. Also, you truly NEVER have to buy anything via microtransactios and you can easily make it to endgame and hve a viable character.
  7. I love the Gothic series and I love Gothic 3, but it took nearly 2 after launch for that to even become a playable game. Gothic 3, in its current shape with the latest community patch and the content mods and the AI rewrite and rebalance, is a great game, but it was an UNMITIGATED DISASTER when it launched.
  8. The staggering level of ambition of The Witcher 3 does scare me a bit, simply because of what I've seen happen to another great series that got really ambitious with its third iteration: Gothic. Luckily, CD Projekt RED are in a position where they pretty much answer to no one but themselves, and with their subsidiary, GOG, constantly blowing more wind in their sails, they may actually have the time and resources to at least attempt to fully realize their ambitions. As for Dragon Age 3, I hope it's good, I really do, there's just so little to go on at this point.
  9. X: Rebirth - It lives, it's still in development, it will come out... some day... I hope.
  10. The Order looks sort of like Bioshock Infinite minus the floating city part.
  11. I love it when these suits try to make the funny. It's so endearingly pathetic.
  12. "All our Sony entertainment content will be tailored specifically toward what the gamer wants." Mountain Dew: The Movie?
  13. It's kind of hard to take anything away from the Dragon Age 3 trailer since it had nothing but cinematics. I liked Dragon Age: Origins, then Dragon Age 2 came up and punched me in the **** and left me writhing on the ground saying "What the ****!? Why would you do that to me?" This trailer does nothing to remove that bad taste from my mouth because there's nothing indicating which direction the game is going other than Morrigan's back.
  14. I'm willing to bet the chance of getting those 2x rare profession resources is about 1 or 2%, but yeah it's cool how Leadership makes its own resources, What sucks is there are no high exp jobs so it takes a long time to level up. I can tell you at level 18 mailsmithing needs like a bajillion exp to advance to 19, but at least I can crank out scale pants at 500 exp each at 50 min or so a pop.
  15. The Witcher 3 had actual gameplay and bearded Geralt, therefore it wins. Note that I am an unabashed CD Projekt Red fan and supporter, so take that with a grain of salt.
  16. It did look cool... but that UPlay logo in the upper left corner was a big turn off.
  17. That's cool, but you need those resources. The armor is no problem, but the blue resource I'm betting is harder to get. Still, I can't wait to get Leadership to lev 13 so I can take advantage of this. I wish I had figured out earlier that I can sell horses for 7-8k AD a pop in AH. Since I have no other use for gold, other than keeping 2 or 3 gold pieces in case I need potions, I'm buying up horses and selling them to make AD. @sorophx - I didn't mind Mt. Hotenow, I actually kind of liked it. I really hated Icespire, though.
  18. Oh snap, he made it rain.
  19. So far the only things that have gotten me really excited are Mirror's Edge 2 and Raymand Legends.
  20. Hopefully PC gets a non-**** port this time around.
  21. After Dragon Age 2 punched me in the ****, I'm in the don't care about Dragon Age 3 until after it has come out and others have played it and commented on it camp.
  22. I played as Spinal, though I was never particularly good (I suck at fighting games in general). I was lucky to get even a 12 hit combo. It was still super fun even when I was getting my ass handed to me, which was more often than not. C-C-C-C-Combo Breaker!
  23. I've never gotten a drop higher than rank 4, not even in an endgame dungeon. Haven't done a tier 2 endgame dungeon yet, though.
