I know there's no official support for NWN 2 here anymore. But maybe someone in the community can help. I'm looking for the patch nwn2_pcx1_german_from_1221586_to1221587.zip It's missing from the last remaining support page: https://neverwintervault.org/patches?field_game_tid=6&field_official_version_tid=All&field_platform_tid=138&field_language_tid=143&field_requirements_tid=All It's available for the base game without the expansion. It's also available for the second expansion, Storm of Zehir. It's also available for all other languages except German (and, oddly enough, Polish). (By the way, I just discovered that several other patches in other languages are missing. What's going on?) Anyway, I'm just looking for the patch nwn2_pcx1_german_from_1221586_to1221587.zip. Does anyone have a source for it?

Is there a possibility for GOG users to play without the GOG Galaxy client?

1. Gothic 2. Icewind Dale 3. Pillars of Eternity The Baldur's Gate series is too long ago, I never played it since 2001. The first Icewind Dale I play round about every 5 years again. Gothic too.

The classical sixpack. No question. The two-man-party in NWN was boring, The four-men-party in NWN 2 was better, but not good enough.

Got e-mail from Paradox on April 10th with "your swag is on the way" and received the parcel (signed collector's box with some add ons) on April 15th. I'm from Germany.

Translation: There! I had succeeded. I have to compliment Obsidian: It captivated me like Baldur's Gate and Co., Planescape: Torment and other comparable role playing games. As a pensioner I had the time, to indulge me in the addiction of this game. It's excellent! Only one thing caught my eye: After complaints concerning the blurring by full zoom the last patch decrease the zoom. I had to restore this via console. The blurring by full zoom never hadn't annoyed me. But I could see the figures in full size. And another one: Why there isn't a German version of the manual, that belongs to the download version? 42 years since high school I don't need English, The remains are enough, to build a new PC and configure the BIOS. but I'm not able, playing a game in English. Edit: Uh! Double posting. Could someone please merge my two posts to one?

Not in all cases. Only if it follows a short spoken vowel. German language - fiddly language.

To have a minimum interest at the story of the game could help. Not playing the game only for the loot and the fighting. Interest for the Characters could help. What they say, what they mean, what there dialogs mean. And interest for the world, the impulse, more to know about the things, how the gameworld is functioning, how it's history, Why they are, how they are. Curiosity about alle aspects of the game, the charakters, the environment. Time. not to rush through the game. The developers made this game in two and a half year - there is no need for hurry, to play it. Take the game as a kind of mental riddle. What can the dialogs, the thoughts, the characters say, teach you. PoE is not only tactical fighting. It's a spiritual story about how we gods see. Are they fictious or real. What means it for the belief, if they are invented?

There are some little bugs in the pledge management site. - You cannot declare the shipping costs till now for example. - Increase of the pledging money in comparison to the KS level is not displayed.

Phew! A good question ... In wich context we will find the memorials in the game? All on one site? As headstones on a cemetary or graveyard? Or more like a monument on a square, a parting of the ways or in front of an important building? Or as single monuments in wilderness areas? Or something else? The surroundings could be important for the manner of the content. We need more information!

Me too, me too. But than they decided, to make the of them so-called spiritual successor of Planespape: Torment of all things with a turn based fighting system.

I hope, I allocate my money for the right purpose. But I think, the gold backers are the students of the nineties - now in jobs with good earnings and with nice memories of old days of computer gaming and adequate pocket money to recall this memories.

Why is that (specifically)? Less fighting, more exploration and dialogues still stands - and perhaps even more so than before since there won't be (much, if at all) filler combat. Because in a turn based combat system you will spend more time than in a real time system. This means, the fightings will be more important or at least the releasionship of spended time between combat and all other activities will shift to time, I spend with combat. In my opinion this is a core gameplay decision. Want I a game with focus on combat - than a tactic turn based combat system could be very cool or want I a storytelling game. Than to spend much time with fighting is annoying.

They suggested us, they want to make a game in tradition of the original Torment: Planescape. This means less fighting, more exploration and dialoges. A strong story. Now we get a game with a tactical combat system. That's deplorable.

Meanwhile I don't know anymore, what additional addons I have chosen last year for my money. Who could have known, that it would take soooo long ...

Every year at Whitsun with 20.000 people, very much dark and romantic music, literature, movies.
