Really I'm just aiming for pants - what is it with female characters aversion to pants? Doesn't matter the season, doesn't matter the occupation, those ladies always venture forth in their undies. Really girls put some PANTS on and I can live with boob plate!

Ok for all those who are interested, I just got word from Farudan regarding admission to the Obsidian Order of Eternity. The membership is open until paypal closes on Sunday. So for all those people who were asking if they could still sign up or worried that they'd missed out the definitive answer is YES, come on down! Pledge your $8.00 membership fee and post on the forum with your chosen title and we will welcome you to the Order. For any old members if you see questions regarding admission that your wanting to respond to, this is Farudan's response and you can feel comfortable replying that we will accept members until Sunday. On other issues, a lot of behind the scenes work is being done on a new website for us, so we should have a cool new place to hang out and exchange OOE information soon. Great job to LC and all the others hard at work for us!!!!

Nope, I upped my pledge a few times and didn't spend more than I'd agreed to spend, so I'm really content. To me getting one awesome game I can replay several times is worth the cost of 5 or 6 average soon to be traded in or ignored titles. I'm happy and it felt great to be a part of the whole kickstarter energy, well worth the cost. And I may have missed the important 'reverse' part of the OP comment!

Some of the stuff I read was definitely in poor taste, unfortunately it seems to come with the territory on the internet. I don't think people are right in assuming that all people like attention being focused on their appearance regardless of if it being positive commentary. When a pack of anonymous strangers are making personal comments I'm not sure that you can assume it's flattering to the recipient. However, that being said in this instance they didn't appear uncomfortable.

LC- I missed you guys too. We had a great time though, we always do. It's such a cool sport, it's not popular where I'm from and so I know next to nothing about it except that it involve obscene quanities of rhinestones on frocks and is disgustingly difficult. Seriously my little teeny tiny daughter spends 1/2 her life doing strength training, 1/2 her life doing flexibility training and the other half (ok she has more than 1 whole at this point clearly) falling on her arse on hard, hard ice! Aeludor - I don't think there's been a final ruling on when admissions stop yet. Someone will be in touch when we know more about the when the Order closes.

LC - yep my girls are competitive figure skaters and so they have to train a lot which is funny cause they're so small My youngest daughter got bitten by the bug at age four and it's been her everything for the last couple years and there's no way her older sister is going to be beaten at anything by her little sis so she signed up straight away too. I would have liked to miss it but I couldn't let my little devils or their coach down (she just rocks).

LC - Hiya, yeah I couldn't make the countdown I had stuff on that I couldn't get out of. I was totally bummed about it but I watched the party video later and it was too silly for words and I hung about for a little on the kickstarter comments after it was all over. It was great to see Obsidian so excited and having a good time. I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do with the Order in the future though, it would be a shame to let such a great idea stagnate. Still first things first, I'm just lurking around here seeing if I can answer any questions for new members for the time being.

Yep - definitely except for the kids! Sometimes people are just icky, I guess!

Hiya, I can't find the quote but I'm pretty sure that it came down from on high somewhere (like Obsidian or the moderators) that the Order closes with the Kickstarter.

Some of what I saw was really, really cringe worthy but Obsidian are big boys and girls, I'm sure they took it in their stride.

Fluffy - I agree, I do think special consideration may be possible for those who truly tried to sign up and genuinely stuffed it though. Will Farudan be scanning this thread to look at posts or should people just all message him? Wouldn't want to flood him... Farudan should still be going through the posts, I imagine. Farudan could tell you about transfering the Order to your new account, I know that the moderators won't change the titles anymore but I can't say what happens in your case, sorry. Fluffy - you say that like it's a bad thing! If you've got some special circumstances like you tried to pay up earlier or something went wrong for you I'd suggest having a quick word with Farudan to see if you can be admitted. Might take a little time to get a response cause poor Farudan's doing all the work here but that's what I'd suggest. Hope it works out for you.

SeekDway - my understanding is that if you paid your $8.00 admission fee before the Kickstarter ended then you're a proud part of the Obdisian Order of Eternity! Farudan is doing an awesome job trying to get the membership lists up to date, no mean feat for one person with the huge increase in membership in the final days. If your name and title are posted in the thread it will be added to the list asap. Hope this helps.
