Kickstarter question.

Not that I'm aware of, sorry. I suppose they could accept money after the kickstarter ends but I don't know if this is something they are doing. -

Justin - thanks for the clip it was really interesting. Also (and I can't believe I'm saying this) but I'm a trained soprano if you do in fact have to scrape the budget barrel for your musicians you can add my name to your list of fan volunteers. -
Hi Shadeheart great to see you considering joining the Order. If you are raising pledges to a new reward tier or as an add on what you need to do is work out your pledge amount and then add $8.00 to join the Order of Obsidian. So for example if you had an initial pledge of $25 and you added a beta key for $25 to join the order you would then need to add another $8.00 to your total. So 25+25+8=58. Then you just post here with your new title and it's updated under your avatar in about 24 hours. I hope this helps.

Welcome to the order TheLurkingWriter and Welcome also to Condor Templar of the Obsidian Order. All you have to do is pick a title (check the font page here first to make sure it's not taken) and then post your new name here. It will be added to your avatar for you in about 24 hours. You can also add your new title to your name for kickstarter comments through the settings on your profile page.

Maybe he is just upset because he didn't join first ....... or he really doesn't like us very much. in which case LOL It was not really something that I was expecting from Avellone. It's not like it really means anything, just the fans supporting the developer with an extra $8 per person.... But oh well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Including Avellone. Which means: This is real cool: And joining the OO is not cool... ^^ Now Dlux that's just cruel!

Live recorded music, Poll 2.0

both. the cinematics were embarrassing, the song some kind of New-Age-desaster. There's beautiful folk music, even a cappella, and english/french/etc. lyrics that actually fit it... no need for such synth-orchestra-enya-style-made-up-language-cringeworthiness (just my opinion of course!). I couldn't even tell her to shut up or that the song was crap in the following dialogue... I thought the song was beautiful and that the performer had a lovely voice. The animations didn't bother me and I found the whole thing quite moving and a really nice addition to DAO. -
Yes, I'm glad with that decision, too. But the multiplayer arena is just a small toy added into the game. It's very easy to achieve and can support a good test function to the classes setting, level setting and skill setting. Even it can create varied new combat tactics and support great reference to AI design. I see your point but in all honesty I wouldn't want to see them spend the resources on including a multiplayer component. I'd rather have something else. : )

I wouldn't mind an arena, they're always useful to gather a little more XP and it could tie in with building your reputation. That being said I'm not going to lose any sleep over it if they don't include one. Multiplayer however isn't something they're looking at supporting and I'm good with that decision!

LC - I'm glad you like it, you should it's your awesome template! It's supposed to be a somewhat religious looking toasting marshmallow! I couldn't work out how to change the text though my photo editing skills are pretty basic. I see you are sporting a very fine crimson cross now, very apt for a (not at all wimpy anymore) Paladin. : )
