  1. Parkinson's dyskinesia mechanism explained My Mum was an artist who acquired Parkinson's when she was older, and so had to stop working. It's a helpless feeling not being able to fix that, or counter the effects of the medication. Hopefully they can develop better treatments now.
  2. Still waiting on signs of life from the Seven Dragons Saga game from the TSI Games company. Last response was November 2018. Yeah it's probably dead.

Superbowl LV: vaccine or bust. 😷
  4. The list also leaves out South Korea (248) and Australia (93), both of whom are doing well and have male top officials.
  5. Not coming to a movie theater near you...
  6. Yeah there's probably all manner of underhanded dealings right now that we won't hear about until after the election.
  7. Some good news: Recovered Covid-19 patients retest positive due to 'dead' virus fragments — South Korea
  8. I want to see VP Pence do a tour of an active meat packing plant. Maskless, so he can "look people in the eyes". (Seriously, what the actual f*ck?) Come on, suck it up buttercup. 😷
  9. Yep, that's right, all Americans are alike. Wow, you've summed us up so well. Good luck.
  10. One of my favorite animated series. Aku!!! A novel aspect of the show is how little dialogue it uses. It has won eight Emmy awards. The storyboard artist, Bryan Andrews, also worked on Star Wars: Clone Wars.
  11. There are some indications that the virus was spreading through the states earlier than expected, which would suggest there may have been more deaths that were just tallied as natural causes. But the count would probably be low at that point.
  12. I seriously doubt that; tallies occur at the state level, and most are not going to undersell the risk factor to the public. The US medical funding system is abominable, but we do have a lot of very good medical facilities and staff.

As usual the C+Hawks can't quite figure out who to draft in the first round, so they reach for an ILB in a position already filled by two All Pro linebackers in K. J. Wright and Bobby Wagner. Err... okay. A first round LB who is mediocre at pass coverage playing backup. Makes total sense. At least they went for a road-grader of a guard (Damien Lewis) for the running game.

  15. Only if he volunteers to try it first.
  16. More evidence is coming to light that COVID-19 is causing clotting complications. A coronavirus patient thought he was recovering. Then doctors found blood clots in his lungs — a new and potentially deadly complication of the virus. This is decidedly not the flu.
