  1. I do like the idea of multi screen support, but I can't picture the 2nd monitor doing much more than a support role either such as what's been already described. Inventory, journal, current map, a history of text/damage/whatever messages, etc... But then there's issues with different resolutions between monitors, and being able to support all those weird cases... plus what if you like having your 2nd monitor vertical instead of horizontal, how would that affect things, etc.. etc.. There are more people using multiple monitors, sure, but it's still a very small market and I'm not sure if it's worth trying to figure out how to support it for a game that wouldn't necessarily benefit from it. It's not like an RTS (SupCom, TA, etc...), where it's definitely a huge help if you have it.
  2. $20...but then couldn't resist adding the beta and expansion. I kind of want the $165 tier, but not sure if I can afford to. That, and I don't really care much for wasteland 2 since I've already got that from it's kickstarter as well. I might end up going for $110 and add the expansion. Just haven't decided yet. I'd love one of the physical tiers, but don't really want to pay for shipping+duties. Dammit Canada
  3. Uhh, different story based on difficulty? No thanks. If you want replayability, that's what the branching stories are for. Pick a different path the second time around. Play different character types, see how they interact, etc... There is no need to limit it artificially based on the difficulty someone decides to play at.
  4. Riddles can sometimes require a bit too much domain knowledge. I.e. I really doubt in a universe of souls and magic, a riddle that makes sense there, would make sense in ours. They're a cultural construct mostly... Entirely up for puzzles galore though. They're usually more to do with problem solving and logic, something that's a bit more universal.
  5. I like "save scumming". I like to be able to see where different branches may have taken me without needing to replaying the entire game just to see. So sue me. It makes MY game more enjoyable. You don't like it? Don't do it. This is such a silly thread...
  6. I would love to know if there will be option of upping my pledge after the kickstarter is over. As mentioned, I've got limited funds right now but that will change in a month or two, and I definitely want one of the higher tier reward packs The team behind Wastelands 2 allows for this, in their backer site. I think it's a great idea
  7. I think this is pretty key. It had been a long time, before that game, since I was actually interested in companions in a game. I loved their personalities, history, completing their arcs, etc... If we only have 8 companions, but they're of that calibur? I'm all for it! And that's what it sounds like they're going for anyways
  8. I don't see why this matters...if the game is left so that you can continue playing, and you want to, then do it. If you don't want to, then don't? Why restrict it artificially? The game has still ended anyways... I'd love to go around and just explore the things I've missed, find/complete sidequests, etc... even after having finished the game. Unless the story concludes the game with something that alters the world in a very large way, I don't see why it can't work.
  9. Oooooo this would be great. To have the dm-client + toolset, would be even better, of course
  10. From FAQ: Looks like other options will probably be available.
