  1. @Falkon Swiftblade - I've been testing Crafting and Enchanting today and writing up some bug reports / suggestions about it They fixed an issue with Enchanting Accurate weapons that I reported from the last patch. Currently I believe there could be better audio feedback when using the Crafting and Enchanting menus. The UI for Enchanting could also display the weapon stats underneath the enchantment info too, or something. Josh Sawyer also said that they removed a lot of enchantments from the game based on player feedback that we wanted more items in the game world to have unique properties. Yeah, sounds good man. With optimized art pipelines, do you think there'll be more of a chance to include more village/city interiors in future installments too? (such as minor houses etc) The BGs for instance re-used the same base maps for interiors to really good effect.
  2. Oh I believe you, but it would be helpful if we could find what's causing it You can click on the "Ancient Memory (3 Hit" in the combat log to expand the entry and see how much Endurance it's healing Lol +68 Endurance - what talents do you have man? (take a screeny of the lower part of the character sheet)
  3. What stats / talents do you have? I wonder if it's a bug with something like that or it's just a bug with the ability itself
  4. Yes, seems like they need a governing document for how to display / write descriptions
  5. In this video I demonstrate how there is virtually no feedback for successfully enchanting an item. I have several recommendations to improve this Add a sound that plays when successfully enchanting an item (such as a Hammer on metal sound) Possibly display a preview of the Item stats inside the enchant UI underneath the enchantment information so that you can see that your item was successfully enchanted Maybe add some sort of accompanying VFX on the Enchant button or on the item picture or something just to give some extra visual feedback - think about when you craft an item in the Horadric Cube in Diablo 2, it has that flashy effect on the squares In this video I demonstrate the feedback for Crafting an item. A popup is displayed indicating that you've crafted the item. I would recommend using the sound of placing the item you crafted in the inventory to be played when you click the Craft button, so that it gives audio indication that you've crafted the item and it's now placed in your inventory
  6. Not yet, it's just been 0.8 for me. Are you using Beloved Spirits / What is your Might score?
  7. Similar to this thread from v278: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/68262-v278invisible-stone-beetle/ This Stone Beetle became unselectable and stuck inside it's burrow. I believe I caused this by knocking the Stone Beetle down or interrupting it on it's burrow hit frame or something. output_log.zip
  8. Stone Beetles appear to bypass 3 DR, Adra Beetles appear to bypass 5 DR. Neither of these is being shown in the combat log, and the calculation mismatches the actual damage output.
  9. Issue 1: Chant Names aren't fitting into the Spell Description page Issue 2: The Stats of the Spectre (and other summons) really need to be included in their description. How are you supposed to know what a Spectre will do or what special abilities they have until after you summon it? How are you supposed to make an informed decision
  10. You're right, Dunno what I was thinking there.
  11. Some item changes I've noticed Stilettos and Maces now only bypass 3 DR instead of 5 Plate Armor and Brigandine have had their armor stats changed - Plate gives 15 DR vs Slash and Pierce, Fine Brigandine gives 15 DR vs Crush Slash is now actually better against at least one type of armor (Padded) The Lash enchantment has been reduced to +25% damage, down from +50% Blunderbusses and Pistols have -0.3 Crit Multiplier ... I wonder what the default crit mult is now ? Enchanting Accurate Weapons (Spears etc) with Accuracy Modifiers actually works now, and looks pretty scary
  12. Well, if you're talking about how many encounters you get out of a rest in comparison to the Infinity Engine games (without rest spamming) even on higher difficulties such as Insane/SCS Mod then it's still a bit low IMO. I'm finding that the amount of encounters you get out of a rest on Hard is a bit low too, so perhaps character health values could be a bit higher to facilitate longer adventuring days.
  13. edit: don't worry - i am silly
  14. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Wizards and Druids have some great spells (Wizards also have quite a few duds), but the vancian-style magic system doesn't really scale that well for PotD. I will probably play the game on PotD eventually but since the difficulty level is simply a byproduct of the others, I don't really see the point in me testing on it personally, as any changes made to Easy/Normal/Hard will influence PotD. If you're playing for fun though - sure, why not. You should maybe give a Barbarian a crack too, on this build in particular with the broken Interrupt - go like Max Intellect, Max Perception and interrupt every enemy within a fairly large AoE - it's pretty lafs.
  15. That looks like it would be a lot more fun if you didn't run out of spells after 2 enounters. In contrast, classes with replenishing resources - Cipher, Chanter, Monk seem like they would scale very well into PotD. The spell limitations of Wizards, Priests and Druids kind of holds you back a bit.
  16. Either way, most of the methods you described require the use of CC (same tactics will apply on Hard). I'd prefer if Elder Bears were altered so more approaches were viable.
  17. Hahaha. Lol @ The pathfinding after you Charm the Bears. Good video, I'll have to try the spell again.
  18. Yes you'll start at level 1. You'll get access to the Dyrford just before the middle point in the game.
  19. We have a mod for that No, but I haven't asked. I wouldn't be surprised if AI changes are out of scope until patches/expansion.
  20. It targets the ground. I'm used to leading since I play DotA 2 - part of the skill is properly aiming your abilities.
