  1. When I tested this in v364, they did not but they may have since been corrected. I will have to check again. There were no potions for sale when I last tested, after completing her quest.
  2. It's pretty dumb though when a consumable heals you for full endurance and a high level healing spell heals for piss all.
  3. I don't think so. Interrupt on it's own sucks, having to pump two semi-useless stats to get a high Deflection sucks (making you fairly useless at anything but not getting hit as often by Def attacks) and +1 Accuracy was fine - it was when they bumped it to +2 that it became problematic.
  4. I think you have to complete her quest first ? (or one of the other quests in the beta)
  5. I prefer mechanical reasons to role playing. Powergamer, etc.
  6. That one isn't a huge deal, but it's noticeably pixelated compared to previous
  7. Individual stealth will be implemented in a patch. They already said so.
  8. Hopefully we won't see the compression squares when they are updated.
  9. What? Paladin and Fighter have 35 base deflection. Most others have 25. Priests and Wizards have 15. Paladin also has Faith and Conviction which can boost Deflection by 7 over the Fighter, and 17 over the others. Have you actually tried 100 Deflection against Accuracy 50? I have. It's not good. You have to sacrifice heaps of DPS to get it, and it's only one defense, there are three others that enemies can (and do) attack, and some of those attacks will hit you (eg. Stunning Blow) and reduce your Deflection dramatically. It only works against some enemies. Otherwise it's an awful build IMO.
  10. All of the racial abilities are quite underwhelming. Minor Threat is good because its bugged :D
  11. On second thoughts, that check would not work as it wouldn't include debuff hits. A better way of doing it would be something like checking if a hit is non-damaging to a party member instead.
  12. Or just store the loading screen images externally from Unity's file system so we can interchange them with the HD ones.
  13. Yeah Rogue, Barbarian, Cipher and Monk have lower Deflection. The Cipher also can't solo because of combat casting restrictions.
  14. You can't kill them though. You can invest in Perception and Resolve, and have a high Deflection, and get hit for a bit less damage but deal absolutely nothing back - like 1-2 damage per hit/graze through DT or whatever. Meanwhile you're getting destroyed slightly more slowly. Using a shield slows down your recovery, and larger shields reduce your accuracy something shocking (I think by too much), so you're screwed.
  15. You're probably correct. I just assumed it was Perception because the BB Rogue finds everything and she has 22 Perception.
  16. A similar bug happened to me here with looting an item from the ground: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/70319-help-me-reproduce-a-bug/
  17. Very much this. They reduced beetle sizes for this reason, and I think they should reduce spider sizes too.
  18. I don't think it should be tied to search, I think it should just be if you're standing still and have a high enough Perception (Currently it's a Perception check) - but that's just me.
  19. Haha, I didn't want to say this because this "bug" makes the ability awesome. What I think happens is it adds 10% per ally attacking the same enemy as you. It also works for friendly fire type stuff (which I reported, but I don't think has been fixed) - when enemies are attacking your allies and you hit your ally with friendly fire - Minor Threat will trigger and crit them.
  20. I did suggest a solid border for all of the elements, so perhaps use a thick solid border to the log (and the portrait section, but maybe not as wide as the gap is now so it's difficult to actually miss the scrollbar. That one isn't a huge deal as I said, because I can move the element myself in a mod. More interested in borders, color/decoration, non-transparent log and something that grounds the portraits/status icons better - if you get around to it in the future.
  21. I think I prefer the more stylized color palette of the BG1 and IWD1 environments compared to the color palettes used for wilderness/nature/forest style stuff in this game, but YMMV. I also think Icewind Dale and BG2 have some better environment pieces / props - Severed Hand Astrolabe room for example. Whoever modeled that did a superb job.
  22. I think boxed versions are DRM free, at least the backer versions are, anyway.
  23. I don't believe you can actually equip shields in your right hand (it's not working).
