Let's Play Baldur's Gate 2, and reflect on Pillars of Eternity (2)
I didn't think too much of the Asylum, there's a machine down the bottom of the Catacombs that gives you a few good items though. You definitely want to go to the Sahuagin City just for the Cloak of Mirroring and I like the Underdark, especially going into the Beholder and Mind Flayer lairs There's some good C&C with the main plot quest down there too.

Lots of little things that we knew about. Polish stuff can sometimes be pushed to the back throughout development. A larger change is going to be a revision to the grimoire UI. People were very confused, so we are going to take another pass at it. Ah yeah. While not really a "Kaz" UI issue: Attack Speeds/Recovery times in sec/msec would be very handy too

Also IIRC Steam does not support FLAC downloads or something. At least when I got my Wasteland 2 Steam copy I only got MP3s, they had to set up a bandcamp link for people who had steam but wanted FLAC. They may have just set it up incorrectly though, you could probably add it as free DLC or something due to the file size. Will you be able to launch the game from the .exe without steam?

Some of the actions described, not all of them. PE combat is about encounter strategy and openings. IE combat is far more rooted in reactionary tactics. You can employ a strategical and opening style, but as you've probably found out in BG2, it calls for a lot of reactions. PE combat doesn't. Microstrategy might not be an actual word, but there is strategy at both a micro and macro level in games. In Competitive CoD we would refer to planned actions as 'strats'. A tactic would be something that the player did in the moment. If I got surprised by an enemy AK and dived behind a car for cover - that's a gameplay tactic. Where I throw my grenade, and the route I take to rush a bombsite is usually stratted.

Not until a Something Awful goon or somebody like that complains about it, which I don't think they will because they won't try to play like this. They aren't going to bin the system. I'm not sure it's worth reporting anymore bugs/issues with it to be honest.

[392] Enemy casters need to be more threatening
That kind of stuff won't be coming until the expansion, where they look into contingencies etc. Mirror Image in the IE games was cast very quickly but it could be interrupted. I haven't really bothered trying out Wizard protection spells because it's a waste of a spell IMO, I'd rather save it for dealing damage.

All other firearms now have -5 Accuracy instead of -10, except Blunderbusses. This is a huge difference, and I think it really de-values the weapon, which is already bad enough against DR. I would recommend it be updated to -5 Accuracy to be in line with Pistols and Arquebuses. It also has no interrupt ...

[392] Accurate 1 in Item Description hasn't been altered for Clubs and Rapiers
For every other item type that has the Accurate 1 property, their strings have been moved to *Missing itemmods 240* which does not have +5 Melee Accuracy and +5 Ranged Accuracy under the Accurate 1 property, but just +5 Accuracy (which looks much cleaner). Clubs and Rapiers need to be moved over to the new strings, and the missingitemmods 240 string assigned.

Probably need some changes to the AI - throw a protection spell or two on themselves before casting anything might work but due to the complete lack of counterspelling in this game it's gonna be difficult to make them anything other than an easy target.

Expected Result: Should be in the middle of the back like the other 2H weapons, and not clip with the cloak.
