Best way to enjoy games: stay away from the internet.
-
Hmmm, pretty sure most people avoided Fallout 76. Does that count?!
-
Bethesda released 4 games on the PS3, all of which were pretty much broken(check out the save problem with Fallout, Oblivion etc for more details). Doesn't that hurt the consumer? Pretty sure J. Sawyer asked people not to touch the PS3 version of Fallout: NV at some point because the game would start crashing every 30 minutes after 50 hours of gameplay.

Finished this little walking simulator game called 'Virginia'. Total garbage, avoid. The Stanley Parable, Firewatch and Proteus are the only walking simulators I have enjoyed so far. Other games such as Dear Esther or Everybody has gone to Rapture just make me scratch my head.

Ubi games are pretty much the same, you know if you want to pay 60 dollars for a game on release, or wait and buy it once it hits a lower price. The last Far Cry game I bought on release was Far Cry 3. As for Malcador, I didn't blame him dor anything. But when he points out the same thing for the nth time over and over again, be it games, football or hockey, then you can't help but to notice: is this really that different from the fiascos the gaming community throws around every once in a while? This world is -naturally- full of flaws, it is indeed funny when someone tries to prove that they are 'better' than others.

Hmmm, am I missing something?! I did not notice any special story related dialogues from Oscar Mike, just his usual lines...and yeah, I thought the entire game was 'juvenile'. Not bothered by that at all.

I decided to give Battleborn another chance and boy am I suddenly in love with this game. It is a very unique game. But sadly, not all characters are fun to use when you are playing solo. Oscar Mike seems to be the best choice for solo playthroughs so far. On a totally different note: I managed to find a dns server that allows me to connect to Xbox Live again! So both Microsoft and the sanctions can suck it, nothing can stop from playing/buying games legally!

FFXV is getting its final dlc: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-02-19-final-fantasy-15s-very-last-dlc-episode-gets-a-release-date Maybe I should have waited for the 'Totally Royal Edition This Time Around Not Joking...Seriously Royal Edition Edition'. One good thing about Apex Legends is that it brought the Titanfall 2 multiplayer back to life again. Gotta give the T2 MP another shot one of these days.

^ That was pretty impressive, Sonic. Thanks!

Oh well, there is always pleasure...& pain. ...unless you are playing Warframe, that thing is pure pleasure.

A few days ago I had this weird dream: There was this stray cat outside and it was begging for food. I gave the cat some food and stood there until he had finished up eating the food. All of a sudden, a plant with all sorts of hard drugs attached to it, starts growing out of the ground(where I had placed the food earlier). ... Why?!

Everytime I try to connect to Xbox Live it tells me that 'Xbox live isn't supported in your region'. Things quickly change once you enter the right dns servers in the Network Settings. The war on terrorism knows no bounds I guess.

Sort of wish that would happen, all this crying about 'anti-consumer' aside. Would be nice to see the reaction from the gamer community Yeah yeah, we get it. You don't actually play games, you're just here for the laughs.
-
not at all, i think quite opposite. I am just pointing out that I THINK its not unique enough to fly today. They can of course surprise me Yup. Can't argue there. I wish we had gotten a few good fps games out of Kickstarter while it was still a thing. The only person who actually tried that was...John Romero. Dear god, You can stop teasing us now.

^ so everybody should just make BR games or follow a certain template while making SP fps games? Publishers and even some of the devs at From Software thought that Demon's Souls would be a disaster, but yeah, thanks to that game, people at From Software still have job. Yeah, I guess that makes the whole discussion pointless. Warframe heals everything. *plays Warframe*

All of those above have very distinct stylisation, lets be honest UT is pretty generic in terms of settingMetro Exodus and Rage are both post apocalyptic which has been done to death in the past decade while both Wolfenstein and Far Cry 5 have you fighting against nazis/cultists. The first Unreal had an atmosphere that was pretty unique actually: You are a simple worker aboard a transport ship. Your ship is shot down and you land on an alien planet, feeling completely alone and lost while exploring because you have no idea where you are. But step by step, you discover the planets wonders and hazards. I never played Unreal II but the first Unreal was one of the few fps games that made me feel isolated, alone and scared at times. Rune was also one of those games that made you feel truly isolated and alone at times, but that is a different game...

Rogue Trooper Redux. Not bad by any means but I think it's safe to say that the game hasn't aged well. The upgraded visuals look nice but the shooting reminds me of the PS2 era games and the story hasn't been anything gripping so far. My 2 cents: avoid, unless you are a hardcore fan of the comic books.

Rage 2 Wolfenstein Metro Exodus Far Cry 5 DOOM ... I'd say there is a demand for SP Shooters. Perhaps not as high as BR games but still...

GoG and Steam for me on PC. It is worth noting that CDPR could pull a **** move and release Cyberpunk 2077 on GoG/Console only if they wanted to. Of course they will never do that because... *drum roll* ...it's anti-consumer. Couldn't Epic Games put all that money and effort into a new Unreal Tournament or a new single-player Unreal game instead?!
-
How did you like Ascension? That and the newest GoW are the only ones I haven't played.
-
Now I'm interested. I always enjoy a unique story.
-
Finished Resi 0. It had its moments but ultimately, it ended up being more frustrating than fun.
-
Back to Warframe. If anybody is interested in some coop(PS4) let me know.

I wake up 3 am to the sounds of a cat crying in the alley. Crying doesn't stop so I go downstairs to check it out. Turns out some major a-hole has decided to throw out a ca. 5 month old kitten outside. Grabbed it and brought it inside. It meowed a bit at first but boy was he happy to see some food! It stopped meowing after he was done eating. Pretty sure I am keeping him if I can't find him a good home. @Azdeus: glad to see you healing, bro. Cheers.
